Love this. Cheers Dean, you notice from Thursday on the parkrun video views start to jump up I imagine for the same reason I know we do it too. Hope you enjoyed Conyngham Hall 😉
Cheers Craig. Great video. Congrats on a good, solid run. It's funny as somebody I know on Strava also ran Selby and I was thinking the map looked quite dull. Knowing it's an old airfield, now makes sense. I imagine the wind would be an issue on a breezy day. Thanks again and I hope your 10 miler went ok. Ps. I'm far too young to remember The Flintstones. 😆🤣😂
Cheere Colin, was a mad rush to the start at one point I thought we weren't gonna make it which would have messed up my 200th planned in September lol. Yes Mandy pitched it to us on the morning as it's a boring out and back but rain wasn't due till after we had run which sold it to us. Turned out not to be boring 😄 The wind was very much felt on the day so anything above a brisk breeze will likely hold you back from a pb lol
Thanks Andy, did go off a bit fast on this knowing I had the eccup 10 race this morning but thankfully, it didn't stop me smashing it 😀. Yeah I believe it is and old airfield, great course to TT on for sure and see where you're at.
@AndyCliffMTB she managed to finish just under 40 mins. I'm going to get her a plan put together and get 5 mins off that before the end of the year, she's gonna love it 🤣🤣
@@TheRunningWhale I'm going to come over and join you both, we'll be Mandy's fighter escorts, good cop bad cop sort of approach (me good obviously)....:)
Like you say it isn't Selby at all its Burn, the old airfield, great for a PB on a calm day, thats what its known for, most people got to it for that alone.
Honestly, we had such a mad panic on getting to it, not made any easier by sister Mandy squeezing every last drop of petrol before filling up and a random train crossing thrown into the mix 🤣
