This is for anyone who's planning to visit Dr. Maichand..I have had this revision surgery few days back and this Xray that the doctor is referring to is also mine..Although m still recovering and pain doesn't seem to end.. but I am hopeful that I'll get better soon and doctor Maichand is no less than God for me and my family. Please don't wait for things to get worse and get treatment soon. Believe in Dr. Maichand and his treatment and recommendation. He's the best there can ever be.

Hello doctor very informative video. Thank you. My mother had a total hip replacement one month ago and she had to do a revision surgery before two days because they she dislocated is twice in the span of 3 days (they tried closed reduction but failed). Now they did a surgery which included something which looks like a cage in order to old the acetabulum cup in its place.

Sir, if we use a horizontal screw through femur and femoral stem, it may prevent rotational instability, shouldn’t need cement inside femur, also it will prevent stress risers and hope a good femoral bone for revision. If i am wrong pardone me.

Sir ,I underwent hip replacement surgery 41 years ago due to Ankalysing Spondylitis . All these years it was absolutely fine . From the last 2/3 years now there is limping in walking but no pain in the operated leg . Now I am 63 years . Pl advise if Revision surgery is required ? Regards
