She has a similar sense of humor, similar voice, similar dog, and had been silenced by a shit eating company she worked for the past month so she couldn't legally say anything, but she is starting to stream again in just 2 days!

When Zaion happened, I kept my scepticism and didn't want to do a witch hunt. Then Yugo, Nina, Mysta, Mika, most of NijiID (which was blended into EN), Pomu, Kyo, now with Selen I believe there is a serious leadership problem within NijisanjiEN. Especially since the graduates all said the same effin thing

You know, I had a feeling this was going to happen. When Nina suddenly announced she was graduating, I knew the end was approaching. Mysta then suddenly graduated... then Mika... then Pomu.. now Selen's been terminated.. and Kyo recently announced his graduation. Probably missed a few names, but you get the idea. In the span of less than a year. 6 names are gone or will be going due to various reasons. I can only imagine how many more people will graduate before 2024 is up. Also Niji-Sanji cant blame Selen for their reputation being ruined when it was already in the toilet.

2:44 As someone who's worked in a terrible company before, I just want to say company violations/warnings are meaningless. Basically he said, she said stuff. It's was my company's policy to trash or dismantle any defective product you discover. I was written up for repeated violations of "wanton destruction of company property." I wasn't aware I was doing anything wrong until they pulled aside one day. They acted as if I was warned multiple times (I had not). When I asked for clarification on company policy, I was written up again for "unprofessional behavior" and "insubordination." Much later, I found out the regional manager had a personal vendetta against me because I was attending a university that he was rejected from.

I was always suspicious of the timing of her hospitalization, but dear god it was so much worse than I could've ever imagined...

Basically the permissions for the song went as follows: Artist who made the darn thing: I consent Selen: I consent Kurosanji: I don't Edit:spelling, I was too pissed off to care for it when I typed it Edit 2: many of the people involved with selen's mv have all said they had given permission to selen months back, it has become abundantly clear that the "permissions" that were needed were not from "third parties" (relevant parties) but from nijisanji themselves Nijisanji didn't like something, whether it was how selen got the permissions or if they didn't like the use of graduated livers, it was nijisanji themselves who were against the release of the video what a bunch of mfs, they don't even have the decency to say they were the ones messing with the mv's release schedule, that's probably why selen released it because she had the permission from literally everyone except nijisanji themselves, when nijisanji first said yes but suddenly said no coz "f*ck you, that's why" So freaking vile to let her complete the mv (that she fully paid from her own pocket) only to say no and mess up her schedule, she was planing to purposely burn her investment but they had to get in her way again and not even give her the satisfaction of leaving her mv up for her fans to watch You'd think management would be keeping an eye on her so nothing unexpected shows up in her projects, but they blindly gave her permission and got surprised when something unexpected showed up Mismanagement at nijisanji is so bad, the head doesn't know what the tail is doing and then they bitch when the unsupervised liver fucks up, it's management job to guide her and tell her what she's allowed and not allowed to do but it seems they expect the liver to know stupid rules not even management themselves seem to remember until it becomes a problem

The fact so many Niji EN livers are leaving shows that the issue is in the company, principally since plenty of them repeat the same thing regarding the reasons they are leaving: "I did everything I could here" or "Not many opportunities here" etc. And not only that, they also indirectly address issues regarding management, to the point Kuro and Matara got surprised in how good is Vshoujo's treatment about their members. Just look at how they are now in Vshoujo. Both so comfortable, excited and lively

Even if we strip away all the surrounding blame shifting, (currently) unconfirmable details and talk about image (why is any of that even in here?) and just go by the few hard facts they bring up, that already paints a grim picture: How come you first learn of a whole _music production_ by one of the talents under contract with you only TWO DAYS before release? Why would one of the biggest names in your company not rely on your extensive company assets - even if only for administrative tasks? That goes beyond some "rogue" talent disregarding red tape and cutting corners. Quite the opposite, as it meant massively more work for her. At best that implies a gross communication issue - and at worst it's corporate abuse (reaping the rewards while doing none of the work) or massive trust issues fostered within your company. It reminds me of how Matara Kan was _genuinely_ surprised and actively gushing over how her new manager just _did their regular job as a talent manager_ and offered help with the projects she planned... The implications of that are shocking. I admittedly know very little of Nijisanji, and I try my best to stay unbiased in these topics, even if things appear clean cut (hype culture and horde mentality can quickly turn against the wrong party). But even with all the effort I can muster, it's looking bad for them...

I remember when Nina left and came to Vshojo she said management was never helpful and always made her stressed out. There is a clip of her saying this. Seemed like a lot of people glossed over that, but that raised major red flags to me.

There's such a huge difference of tone and feel between Mel's termination from Holo and Selen's from Niji it's crazy. Sadness but cordiality on one side, anger and conflict on the other.

I’m relatively new to the vtubing community, but Selen was always a great talent to see and watch. She’s a force of positivity and charm, and always brought a smile to my face when I watched her content. To see that she was being bullied behind the scenes to a breaking point, with niji even denying it really is heartbreaking. Nijisanji has shown time and time again they do not care about their talents and only wanna use them as puppets, yet they are unaware that it is THEIR actions on why their reputation is in the dirt. Selen is very strong, and I hope she keeps her head held high.

I remember seeing a pic in Twitter somewhere when the whole Pomu thing was happening, it was the [Lethal Company] logo but with the Nijisanji icon on the "o" and it had 11 Niji livers hanging on nooses, within the letters. The picture itself was very low res so I couldn't recall most members, but what did me over was seeing Nina hanging on a noose, head slumped over which made me sick. I wouldn't be surprised if someone made an updated one with Selen in it, though it would be in a even more grim context due to her being bullied, harassed and at the end, being hospitalized.

IMO Nijisanji signed their own death warrant with this one. At least for the EN branch, since they have like 100 JP talents. There is no way they can recover from throwing their hardest working, most driven, and drama-free talent under the bus to try to hide their own incompetence. I think that at least the En branch is done for. Any new waves are going to struggle to even break 100k subs, and we are going to see a slow exodus of people supporting them, with not many new people supporting them. It's going to take time, but I expect to see the En livers dropping out one by one.

One thing, among many, that stands out here is it's _Nijisanji_ who brings up bullying by other talents. From everything I've heard, no one else in this case talked about this at all. Without naming names (so suspicion runs rampant) they make this statement in a way that throws their own talents under the bus. This isn't protecting their own, it's putting them in danger.

The whole getting bullied by other liver really show alot of eyebrow raising even in the NijiJP side. Most Vtuber group know one of the Ex-Niji member moved to hololive because she was getting bullied and make fun of, the theory of a certain gen member in NijiEN clique slowly but surely resurface again. The question is how fucked this EN clique are to the point their bullying and harrasment to their fellow liver that goes unnotice or manage to get away with it without any consequences at all?

One thing that I always hated Niji for, was making it so hard over years and literally taking control of the things Selen made or arranged. I will NEVER forget how they took her WWE collab and FORCED an ad for Niji3D concert for NijiEN. This included the first 5 waves of NijiEn including Luxiem and Noctyx. All the Livers worked themselves to the bone for this concert and not long after announcement, Cancelled it. Two years later and nothing else has come of it. Pomu essentially had to GRADUATE just to get Home3D. That was the first nail for me, how they dangled so much in front of these workers then restricted and forced back to back and made them act. The livers are some of the best entertaining streamers I've seen, and I'm glad I've had the opportunity to find many. But now dragging someone THROUGH the mud in this way that has supported them for years is disgusting. I'm glad i can still support Zaion after that mess, Nina as my first Niji Oshi, Mysta as a kind soul, and now can still do the same for Selen.
