Selena can sing, citi concerts was awful but she has good performances for example revival tour, Brooklyn was i think the best performance at revival tour
Efekan Efekan I don't pretend to know why she does everything she does. But neither of us are in a place to judge her actions. Even if she didn't drink any, she would still have Lupus so she would still run out of breath a lot quicker than other singers. Sadly though haters don't understand the simple concept of people liking things they don't like. They don't get that people don't care about their every opinion. And they especially don't get the concept that not liking, but saying and doing nothing is respected a lot more. There is enough hate in this world. We don't need to spread more over whether Selena Gomez is a good singer, actress, etc. Until we have stepped into her shoes and walked around a little bit, we are in no place to criticize her.
Keegan Harrison She is not even a singer . You can barely hear her all the time and she just sings in 1 note and that's her speaking voice that's why she is a D- listed "singer"
I don't think she's horrible, I just think that she's overrated for the amount of talent that she has. I think she has an average singing voice and isn't anything special.
Every singer is different and I feel that Selena just needs to find the right songs and make sure the key is right for her voice, not every singer is meant to be a powerhouse that is loud and can sing high, high notes don't equate talent
I always thought Selena had a bad “real voice” but after this video I’ve noticed it’s always onstage when she’s dancing around and puffed out or at least on stage and just being in front of a crowd maybe but all those other clips where she’s stationary sound amazing
I still think she sounds the same as any regular middle schooler singing in their yearly talent show. She wouldn't have gotten signed if she didn't already have fans from disney.

in the videos where people say she sounds good is when she's literally just talking/ whispering on the mic that makes her whispers sound like "singing" which is something almost everyone can do
I've seen her live too and she SLAYED it. everyone has bad performances, no singer is perfect. so stop judging people based on a couple of performances when you don't know what they're going through.
Literally all the “bad” ones are her in motion and moving around and exhausting herself, vs her just literally standing still and focusing on her singing, her songs back then wasn’t really her vibe of singing, her recent albums are less produced and she’s comfortable singing them considering it’s her part of writing in the songs, with that shows more connection between the artist and the lyrics, 😊 my opinion though lol

She has a good voice, it is not that easy to sing many songs and she sings a lot of songs which they need to be sung with high notes!!!! She cannot always be perfect, but you are a bit cheating, why you haven't took the Revival's clips?! They are the best...
I found that she does sing better when singing acoustic but she will always out of breathe while doing both singing and dancing together... In my opinion, I think she should sit down and perform her songs so that she can control her breathe better.. Besides, I think she should come out with the songs that suit her vocal range such as Heart wants what it wants, Sober, Feel me, Love will remember and etc. Apparently, Me & The Rhythm is out of her best vocal range even though that is one of my fav song. As compare to her Star Dance tour and Revival tour performance, her performance during Revival is more powerful but unstable. However, her performance during Star Dance Tour is more stable. I love her so much but as a selenator, I need to say that her vocal skill is very basic and she really need to enhance her singing skill and breathe controlling and currently she is more towards as a 'Songs maker' instead a 'SInger' tbh. She does has a beautiful voice and I see there are improvements on her vocal so I believe that she can become a very good Singer if she keep it up. ;)

And let’s not forget Selena from the beginning was an actress and singer Disney forced her to be a singer and gave her a shitty tutor that ruined her voice so she couldn’t do anything with the boys. She wanted then lupus came and hit her in the throat. I’m telling you if she didn’t have lupus in Disney took their time and given her the right resources for singing stuff, like a tutor, a real proper tutor that knows what they’re doing. She would’ve been more outstanding she would be thriving.

Alot of celebrities have health and mental health issues but They don't make it their brand or use it an excuse like Selena. She sang badly at the vma and blamed it on anxiety ma'am Arianna Grande also has anxiety, she even gets panic attacks on stage and she still sings fine. She just can't sing.
Every singer is different and everyone has different voice they are also human so if anyone is singer that doesn't mean that they can sings as loud as covered u by an auto tune.......every singer has unique voice just they have to know what's key is perfect for them and I think Elena is a great Singer and she's one of my favourite too......😀❤️
Her voice isnt bad...but she doesn't have a speical voice to be called the most talented singer ever. She is like a normal person who is singing. I would perfer her acting but oh well.
Her voice is quivering (as she grows older, but her voice is good, distinct, and she can sing. I can also hear the flats, but I think it's normal, and it's okay
She's not flat its just sometimes she's not inconsistent to her voice i think the problem to her is to focused to another one like her singing and dancing sometime she's focusing on dancing or sometimes she's out of tune because she didn't hear her self i think its an audio problem but she's great she can reach a 5octaves its not a problem if she use reverb but never try to lypsyncing like mariah carey sometimes she use autotune thts all
Some of the preformences are taken out of the mic so that makes any singer sound bad because the singer has to change his/her voice to suit their background( the music and the place their in weather its an open space a small closed room or a huge stadium) and we can't forget the fact that she was mentaly unstable for a period of time and she said that she was having panic attacks before going on stage and when she got off and i think that will definatly affect the way she sings

If only people were used to original voices instead of autotune, I bet there won't be a singer who uses autotunes in live. But sadly audience are used to autotuned voices and makeup faces that they'll troll when they're singing live or when they're out with no makeup. Also all these people are so senseless and foolish to think that using autotune means using another voice, lol. Guys autotune just tunes your voice finer that's it, that doesn't mean the song is sung by some other people in the original and named after another singer.

Obviously, Selena CAN sing I just prefer for her not to move so much so doesn’t tire her out because when she moves and stuff out of that you can hear how tired she is and how her voice can be off for her just to stand or sit down somewhere else and just Focus on her energy and singing not so much moving because munchies just steals whatever you can hear it, but when she starts moving, you can barely hear because it takes so much out of her. It’s sad and I find stupid that people still don’t realize this well the ones that are very unreasonable

Go cut on a youtube karaoke song & sing while sitting or standing still, focus ONLY on your breathing and vocal control. Then re-do it and mimic EVERY single movement, every dance or jump and such while you sing while focusing on your breathing & vocal control. Not easy.
She’s not that bad, sometimes she sings a song that doesn’t fit to her voice, i mean she’s more good in mellow songs than pop song, no hate, I really love her…. Maybe you should try reacting to filipino musicians

I think people must admit we all can not just like strong high voices, in my case I don't enjoy at all listening to hissing or strong voices. That's why many people like Selena.
It’s not an over powering voice, she seems to have a softer voice, but Here’s the thing, try moving and dancing around while singing, it’s gotta be tough. I couldn’t do, but then again I can’t sing at all.
