I think she sounds good. She has a quiet, soft voice, and to be honest, it's nice to have voices like that in the industry. Not everyone needs to belt or have strong, powerful vocals. I love her voice.

I find her voice relaxing. Not everyone has to be beyoncé to be talented.. maybe she is a little overrated, but still no need to hate. She worked her way up to the point where she is now. She accomplished a lot, so ya’ll should do something with your life.

the reason why people claim that she's a bad singer is that they're comparing her to singers like ariana and demi. but the issue with that is that all 3 have different singing styles. ariana has a powerful and smooth voice, demi has a powerful strong voice, and selena has a soft and smooth voice. they can't be compared because their voices are nowhere near the same. in the past few years selena has actually improved a bunch in her singing. she's not powerful but her tone is great. not all good singers have loud belting voices.

We're out here normalising all types of bodies....Thin, fat, curvy etc...I think it's time we started normalising all types of voices! Soft, loud, belters, whisperer etc! One of my favourite things about this cover is that Selena didn't change the originally pronouns in the song. Some people change the pronouns to better fit them (a guy singing about a girl, then a girl singing the cover and changing she/her to he/him or vise versa) and though it may be a preference to them, I like it better when they leave it how it was originally.

She's not a good singer. I mean she's not horrible but she's not good. In the highest notes (and we all know this song doesn't even have high notes at all) the chorus helped her a lot. And no, stop saying "that's her style","she's unique". There are artists who sing quietly but sound beautiful. She sounds average af.
I'll never understand how come Selena seems more popular than Demi. Demi is just excellent, incredible voice and great songs. +Sidd Talesara I'm a selenator and even though I defend her, yeah you're right and sometimes Selena doesn't sing her best in live because one time she sound awful but in another concert you can see she sings beautifully live and this is a ok performance. I look at her Instagram and when she post a video of her singing she sounds amazing and when it comes to live she sounds different. sometimes its the nerves and she afraid of singing in live television or in a radio station where she knows that performance will never go and that it will be put on RU-vid or shared on social media but when she posts a video on Instagram she can delete any time. she has lupus which means she cant sing high or long notes but she still sings because she loves to sing and her fans loves to hear her sing so I think that Selena has talent and potential to be the best singer she can be.
