You mentioned that the guitar sounded like heavy metal a little. Her husband Chris Perez (the guitarist) that’s the type of music he played before joining her band. Great reaction guys!!
Chris Perez has also continued on to play music with his own *rock* band “The Chris Perez Project”. He eventually went on to win his own Grammy for his album “Resurrection”. He wrote a song in memoriam to his late wife Selena called “Best I Can” in that album. It’s a beautiful but painful song to hear. Till this day he’s still making music for himself and other artists! He released a book & has his own line of Hot Sauces since he’s a big Hot Suave fanatic like depicted in the Selena Movie 😂
@@selena1995only No one really asked about anything, but people still give their input. We can get a lot of new info from the comments. Learn to appreciate.
Thank you guys for paying tribute to THE Selena Quintanilla! 👏👏👏👏👏 La Carcacha basically means a beat up ol car. In the song she's saying she doesn't care what people think or say about her man having a carcacha because he treats her like a queen.
Her Band actually used to mix traditional Latin music & enchence it with a very modern sound & Rock was a component along with other genres like R&B, hip hop, etc. There was no other Hispanic group/Band that had one sound like there’s & Selena is Legend & her & her band are in their own genre really. I recommend a reaction to Selena baila esta cumbia live Monterrey 1994.
Thanks for the reaction! You mentioned the drummer which actually is Selena’s Sister, Suzette. The metal guitar player was her husband and that’s the type of music music he played before starting with Selena. You can look up Chris Perez Project or just Chris Perez. The (bass) player is her brother, Abraham Quintanilla,III, which is partly responsible for a lot of her hits. So much to learn of this family, if you get a chance. Very talented!!!
Selena the Tex-Mex queen!!🌹🌹 thank you for this reaction. I can't watch her without crying 😔 because it still hurts to know she parted so young. She was so beautiful, talented and had such a sweet personality. Will always love her and remember her this way...happy, energetic and giving herself to her music and her fans 🌹🌹
I remembered when I used to wear my hair like hers andddd because of her I started changing little by little my dressing style. I became a chola to a Tejanita, miss the 90's.... proud Texan here💪💪❣❣❤ Saludos from Dallas☆☆ Cowboy nation 💙💙💙👢😘
Gracias. Abrazos. Desde Argentina.
When I watch you guys watch Selena, it's fun to see someone feel the obseccion that everyone gets for her, You always says she "was" and that it's a shame, and you might not know it, but Selena............La Reina.
Im officially addicted to this channel. My sister is Jaqueline Diaz she commented on your disco melody reaction to do carcacha and you did.! Thank you guys for your commentaries on Selena 🥰
Selena was the last artist I was proud to call myself a fan of until BTS. They just have a natural charm and give positive vibes. She was a rose that never had the opportunity to fully bloom. I still have enough strong feelings about her that I got tears when I heard her voice and seen her smile. Thank you for your reaction.
Her sister, Suzette was on the drums, her brother A.B. on the bass and produced all her music, and her husband Chris on the electric guitar. Long before the cross over to some of her English album, the band was known as Selena and Los Dinos (Selena y Los Dinos) which later the band came to be known as just Selena but how she and her family saw it was as a family band. Since her death, she is better known as just Selena and her music is iconic along with all of her because of her charisma, her enormous talent on stage and even though she had fame and beauty before her passing, she was also a very humble person. Her fame didn’t get to her head, she always treated everyone the same and I don’t think she realized how big she was then. She loved dancing and boy could she dance to any rhythm, check out Selena, 1992, Enamorada De Ti.
Abrazos. Desde Argenrina.
Her band was top-notch, led by her brother AB who fused Tejano and Latin styles with funk, soul, and bit of rock! And Chris is an excellent rock guitarist--his riffs and solos were my favorite part of Selena's music, aside from the queen herself, of course. ;)
Excelente amigos... Selena vive.
New in fan of you two thank you for reacting to SELENA love this girl even she’s not with us anymore but she’s still leaves in the heart of all of her fans SELENA VIVE
Gracias. Abrazos. Desde Argentina
She was the Madonna of the Tejano music scene. I truly believe when began her crossover, she would have eclipsed Madonna. Thanks for reacting to her live vids. Brings back good memories.
Selena is always be better then Madonna. Madonna doesn’t even come close to her. No one does. Selena had her own sound and style. She wasn’t like anyone. And no one like her.
You guys should react to Selena’s Que Creias live at the baseball game she sang at. Its a quick clip but it really shows her personality and like her ability to preform as a singer I think u guys would get a good laugh at it too.
Would love to see you guys react to one of Selena's live performances of 'Que Creias'. It was customary that she would ask for a male volunteer to play her "ex-boyfriend" while she sings the song to him. Such a great way to interact with her fans, and is still so fun to watch even today! Here is one of my favorites! @
