This is definitely an extended version for the live audience and she also makes her voice sound more nasal here. In the studio recording the song is much shorter and no nasaly sound, though still sounds great.

La carcacha refers to a jalopy - a dilapidated car. The story behind the song is about a woman who chooses to be with her boyfriend despite him not being in a lap of luxury, including not having a brand new car.

They were recording this concert for a CD or cassette tape that i purchased at a local stand in a mall in 1999. I fell head over heads In love with Selena . I was 10 at the time and my mom told me the story of how she was taken from us and the situation surrounding it . I made it my life’s mission to learn Spanish and teach my now 10 year old son about her music ❤ thankyou master of voice for keeping her alive
