The cast of ‘Selena: The Series,’ which includes Christian Serratos, Ricardo Chavira, Gabriel Chavarria, Seidy Lopez and Noemi Gonzalez, open up to ET’s Deidre Behar about the experience of filming the show. The actors explain why they didn’t spend time with Selena Quintanilla’s parents, Abraham and Marcella Quintanilla, nor her siblings, A.B. and Suzette Quintanilla, to help prepare for their roles. However, the cast did praise series executive producer Suzette for providing the cast with rare materials and spending a fun afternoon together. Seidy, who previously appeared in the 1997 biopic starring Jennifer Lopez, shared the differences between Jennifer’s portrayal of Selena and now Christian’s. The cast also teased what’s to come in part 2 of ‘Selena: The Series,’ which they promise will include a lot more music, live performances and Selena’s romantic relationship with her husband, Chris Perez. ‘Selena: The Series’ starts streaming Dec. 4 on Netflix.
