Stitch by stitch project by project we get better and I hope you are proud of yourself! I am proud of you! You got this! Please check out Insul-Bright as a batting to use for hot pads, casserole dishes, etc. Anything that will be used in the microwave should be all cotton as well. Let me know how your project goes! @@marthascreativelife Thank you for your kind words & advice, started sewing Sept 2020 because our company required facemasks & we were all wanting to rip our ears off... Made over 1300 to give away with tights as the elastic. Trial & error, learning a little from this video/post or that. Been wanting to make these for sometime so I have everything... I also want to make a non- slip foot pedal pad, but the binding had me a bit worried. 🤭 Sounds dumb, but also thankful you showed the directions of width/height & it in compared to a fat quarter. I've done small items & most were squared 4x4, 8x8, 10x10... I also made those door latch softeners for a baby gift. I'm horrible at top stitching corners, but learned how to make A crisp corner from RU-vid of course! 🥰 Thank you again for everything....
