If you have ABS, would you bleed from closer to the master cylinder first and end with the wheel furthest from the master cylinder?

Just a question. Would it be helpful to suck out all the old brake fluid reservoir before starting. If you do that you don’t have to push all that old fluid out the brake lines.

It would make the job harder unfortunately, you'd introduce air into the system and would probably need to then bench bleed your master cylinder [which I do have a video on :) ] which is time consuming

@@EngineeredMojo Not exactly. If you do not pump the brakes with an empty reservoir it should not introduce air into the system. It is almost impossible to get all the fluid out. If you are worried about getting air in at least suction out down to the min line. Seems counterproductive to have a reservoir full of old nasty fluid that you then need to bleed out the lines.

@nealginn7845 when you bleed the brakes all the old fluid is pushed out. You don't have to believe me, just google your method and you'll see it's the counterproductive method for sure. Save yourself some hassle 😀

How many bottles of brake fluid did you use? Thanks and great video.

I used a one quart bottle I believe and that was enough for a full flush with a bit extra
