My father's 2016 Grand Caravan just threw a misfire code on cylinder 2, and he has a 17 hour trip to do in a week... Such great timing. 😅 Although I'm no professional and I don't know if the spark plug could be the reason for the misfire, I would've loved to try this with him but he doesn't want to haha. Now the engine vibrates quite rough at 1-2k RPM.
@imahitu there are two gaskets, in the video I am showing you just the one cylinder side. This is a v6 engine, so there are two cylinder heads. Hope that clears it up for you!
So, i have a question. When I took the CH-R to a dealership and mentioned the squeaky brake sound i was told they could find or hear the sound that I've mentioned about the squeaky brakes. As you mentioned in your video that the squeaky sound would be coming from the brakes being in contact with the rotor and it not being overly filled with dirt that's causing the sound? This has been going on for a week. Thanks in advance 💪🏼
Nice video! My client's own had a similar issue so I bleed the clutch and still to no avail. I've even replaced only the kit inside the upper clutch but the problem of a sponge clutch and no gear still persist. I've checked scrutingly for signs of leakage carefully while someone was depressing the clutch pedal and found out that the down clutch nipple doesn't hold clutch hydraulic fluid! It goes out gently, and also the clutch fluid was replaced with a new one. Nevertheless, it's still very darkened in color. Please, how do I fix the issues? Darkened fluid, soft clutch pedal, and a most especially the leak at the down clutch bleeder or nipple.

@lucianracu9975 Good luck with the installation! Nice project to tackle over a weekend, gives a bit of time to work through the process at a steady pace
So i have a 1999 Acura RL and my main relay is closer to the steering column on right hand side and it looks nothing like this relay. If there was a pin out and test process for my relay, it would be awesome.
Hey, I am wondering if your car horn would still sound when you locked/unlocked the car? My car will still horn when I lock/unlock but not when I press the horn button on my steering wheel.
Wow that's a complex scenario there. I wonder if youbhave a short somewhere where the two wires (horn power and door lock) are rubbing somewhere under the dash un sheathed
Yea it’s so interesting. I ruled out the horn buttons, clock spring, relay, and fuse being issue because when I click the horn button I hear the relay click. However when I press the lock button, I hear the horn 😂
Thank you this is my first repair ever on car by myself and I did job perfect thank you I’m subscribing and looking forward to future fixes ❤ thank you
How cute, none of the Toyota Prius breakpads replacement videos shows pads adjustment (Allen wrench), as if it’s not applicable to this car. Is it true or false?
Just a question. Would it be helpful to suck out all the old brake fluid reservoir before starting. If you do that you don’t have to push all that old fluid out the brake lines.
It would make the job harder unfortunately, you'd introduce air into the system and would probably need to then bench bleed your master cylinder [which I do have a video on :) ] which is time consuming
@@EngineeredMojo Not exactly. If you do not pump the brakes with an empty reservoir it should not introduce air into the system. It is almost impossible to get all the fluid out. If you are worried about getting air in at least suction out down to the min line. Seems counterproductive to have a reservoir full of old nasty fluid that you then need to bleed out the lines.
@nealginn7845 when you bleed the brakes all the old fluid is pushed out. You don't have to believe me, just google your method and you'll see it's the counterproductive method for sure. Save yourself some hassle 😀
Toyotas do best with Toyota parts. It's also a good idea to put a dab of copper anti seize in the pad guide groove (top/bottom) and smear some disc quiet on the backside of pads.
I'd suggest purchasing a new guard mainly since you'd need to remove all the old adhesive from the guard. That could be a labor intensive process to do without damaging the visor
I am new to grouting. I have to regrout my bathroom. I decided on pre-mix. I watched utube videos. When I went to grout for the first time (last night). I ended up with my own method created out of responding to my own work. In the end I am doing the same things as shown in this video. Seems we arrived at the same process. One thing I will try, from this video, is applying more grout than I have been. I have been taking too long I think because I am really finessing it. I will try more course application.
not sure if you're still here amigo. But how did you de-pin them? Did you literally just push it out? Did you have to like lift up the bottom tab? I'm having extremely difficulty here. I managed to get one out somehow, destroyed another one ( so I need to fix it ) do I just need to use a needle or something to hit a retention clip and then push out? OR do I simply just push out the pin with a flathead??
Hey still here! Yes, sort of push up and in to depin. I'm not the best, the other video in my link that guy explains better I think. It's not easy starting out, but what I also did was buy a pigtail of wires to practice on from a local pepboys (like the ones you get for car radio adapters). Hope that helps!
🙂 I'm definitely realizing that. I appreciate the confidence as well. I got them out, and the grout in. It does actually look pretty good so far. Thank you again for your advice. As well as your encouraging words!
OMG I cannot thank you enough for sharing this video! I bought my 02 Tacoma in 2020 and it came with a crusty dead bug by the odometer! And now two more bug corpses have joined this macabre scene. Plus I just got new purple LEDs for the instrument cluster so killed 2 birds with 1 stone :D
Why doesn't anyone tell you how much PSI they fill it up to not just in my green. That is a large. Range I have filet up cars into the green and it has locked up the compressor. But soon as I lower the pressure, it starts to work. And I have burnt up. The clutch on the a c because of it
