I love how this is different from others selfcare videos I see all of which show bath,face mask ,food etc which I understand but this;I love because it addresses the basic and core things and seems like this will work long term

Perfectly timed video. As I come home exhausted from work to an untidy flat (I work in mental health) it's great to be reminded that tidying up isn't a chore, it's part of self care! It can be part of a ritual to clear my mind and feel less overwhelmed. Once I watched this I immediately got up, put away my clothes and tidied my flat. Feel so much calmer now I've done so. Thanks for the inspiration 💐

okay, i kinda don't understand how is this possible but it is the second time that your video goes online right at the moment when i'm worried about something and feel not very good. like the previous time i was worried about my self-confedence, about how to really gain it and stuff - and your video came up just at the middle of the day (i mean, idk what'a the time at your area but for me it is afternoon). and for a week i was spending days like very good, i was doing things i love, i was pretty busy having fun. 😂 but today somehow i can't do anything and can't even think about what to do, sounds like i am bored. and here you are with the video i needed! how is this possible? you're a magician, for sure. 😍🌟 thank you! ❤ (sorry for my english, it's messy a little bit...)
Sharing these words and tips of positivity are so important for young people to hear. Additionally, it's refreshing to hear that not everyone is perfect, and life can get overwhelming at times and your space can get cluttered. Learning to not hate yourself for these "failures" is something that I am slowly working on, as I'm sure many others are. Keep doing what you do Aileen 💕✨
i love the topic reset routine.... everybody needs to identify what it is that needs reset to get you back on track ready to be joyful again. We all have down/low times and is is great to identify your triggers and reset when needed... we all should then design a self care reset routine to use when needed the same as we set our morning and night routines...
I try to schedule in at least one self-care afternoon a week. You've inspired me to be a bit more "productive" with my time though. Like you, a messy environment really impacts my mood so, instead of using my self-care time to forget about it and switch off, I should be using it to fix the problems and messes I see.

Love this video! You're so right. Self care is something we need to invest in more. Yesterday I ran myself a bath and picked flowers from the garden & put petals in the bath, with some lavender oil. It was lovely. I lit candles and wore a argan oil face mask. Much needed TLC!

first few minutes and i already can relate sooo much. sometimes everything is just incredibly messy (my mind especially) and have have this urgent feeling if getting rid of everything cluttery. meditation is then even harder for me cause my thoughts won't shut up, but once you get into the zone you'll feel so much better! btw i just came across your channel and i love it. so much quality content and such a huge inspiration for me since I'm focussing on similar topics. much love, xx

Wow I do these same things... It's amazing how once my area is clear (work space as well) I feel more clear and relaxed. The running as well. I try my best to stay on top of these things as it also begins to affect my rest at night.

I love that this was about clearing your head and your space rather than about some beauty routine like I expected (which can surely be calming as well, but I can relate to this much more). A day like this seems great :- ) During your organization of make-up stuff I thought: did she also declutter something? And a second later you said: I even decluttered some... :- D Yay for decluttering.
In middle school I was always the type to have a messy locker or room (just a little messy) but in high school and college I tried to be more organized. Now as an adult I can tell that if the house is clean I just feel less anxious.
Has anyone told you that your outro music sounds like one of the songs from "Avatar" LOL I love your videos Aileen! Never stop making them because you help someone deal with life everyday!
I would suggest maybe separating this into a full weekend thing. Like taking one day to do all the deep cleaning, in order to create the space you desire. The next day can be your self care day, that way you can spend the entire day taking care of yourself, instead of doing chores
