Hello boys, it is only a science fiction drama.If you use 12Vx 40AH batteries in series (4x12) connected to 1500 w motor, how much current it will consume?.A dynamo is connected with this system it also consume power.For charging a lead acid battery needs 10% of its AH capacity.After riding with full load gradually battery will exhaust totally. This is against law of energy conservation and closely related the first law of thermodynamics.Simply total power of the system is equal to fully changed battery, this energy is converted in to mechanical energy ( for riding and current generation).The work is done against friction air resistance and gravitational force.The dynamo produces some energy when you lower the throttle from 'Inertia' ,in modern hybrid vehicles use this as regenerative braking, produce electricity for add mileage, it will not thriving a vehicle eternally. Otherwise you should discover the motive force of Solar system.Keep going.

Actually u r right bro it's totally fictional as the dynmo will also take energy from the battery, along with the bike the battery will also give power to dynmo and obviously dynmo is never more than 90% efficient and still the charging of battery will not be that much efficient so we will actually get even more bad performance of the overall system but considering their age it can be said their nice attempt.

OK this is what they said about the working of this bike: 0:44 We have taken VL DC motor of 1.5 kilowatts, it requires 128A and 48V to run at a speed of 40-50kmph. It bears the weight approximately of 150kgs. We have taken VLDC(?) motor of 1.5Kilowatts it is connected to the chain sprocket. ....(?).. So when the momentum takes from 0.8 (?) Momentum is also taken in the chain sprocket also. So the chain sprocket is rotated, dynamo belt is also rotated and the power will be automatically generated in the bike itself. So it does not require any electricity or any petrol to run it.... Just by connecting a rotating element to save energy, it won't be sufficient to keep powering it again forever. There will always be losses in transmission. This may be called self charging but the power saved will never be able to power the vehicle so that charging is not required. They made a fool out of you.

Great work and long way to go!! If dynamo is engaged right from begining you end up adding more load on the battery and power generated by dynamo would not be sufficient enough to charge your battery, nothing is 100% efficient eventually you end up charging your battery. Rather than engaging it while accelerating, suggest you engage while decelerating and store that energy which would improve the range.

You have a fair point , we could have stressed on that point in the beginning or end of the video. Key objective of the video is appreciating the efforts of these kids who has tried to be different from main stream and importantly they are just 15 year old kids from very humble backgrounds. For sure these kids could be an inspiration to many other youngsters . We felt its worth recognizing and encouraging such young talent... with experience and more funding in hand they could do a lot more better things in future.. something like "near efficient re-generative chargable bike"...

I will explain there ideas simply in few words. It's look like arranging dynamos to car , other vehicle wheels by that they produce electricity. But these guys forgot that on increasing dynamo count, some extra load acts on wheels. If the arrange to wheels of any vehicles like in bikes, the contact area will get erosions leads decline of wheel life span. For few volts no fellow want to apply to spent on thousands of rupees on buying new tyres. And batteries are single way power supply tool, weather it will gives power or charge itself. And many... R&D and designers are not fools to waste energy. They tried to use Every drop of diesel or fuel. Any how well-done guys, have a great future.

As you know Energy can neither be created nor destroyed , this dynamo has to take energy to deliver energy, that is the dynamo will slow down the bike, there by storing the generated energy to the battery. This dynamo cannot sustain in the long run, you need look for solution how to reduce back drag on the dynamo.

Sorry to say this but if they are saying that there bike needs no charging and will go only by the electricity generated by the Dynamo present in the chain socket...they are fooling everyone with that.... It is impossible to create a system which regenerates equal amount of energy used... It's against the laws of thermodynamics.. First of all using a dynamo would mean the battery would need to provide way more power than usual to the motor and second the power produced by the dynamo will not be sufficient to power the bike for even half the distance it had travelled with only battery due to a thing called friction losses...

This bike is only harvesting the kinetic energy of the wheels that is not enough for the bike to recharge..... Energy is neither created nor destroyed it is only transformed from one form to another... Good Try, but this is not usable. since the energy from the battery is transferred to the wheel and the to the dynamo and then to the battery itself. instead it can be used to provide more power to the wheel or speed can be regulated to conserve power. Applause for your work and exploration

Good try. Whatever we see today has been evolved because of determination and hard work of many people overcoming failures. Nothing is impossible EVs once thought to be boring has been evolved to be thrilling than the IC engines due to many hard work and determination of many optimistic people. Ok 👍 But, these attachments are available in market. Motered Wheel hub with self charger, Can fix motor directly to spracket OR fit in gear box so that you can operate gear & get extra mileage & extra pulling capacity. Direct fixing may not possible to climb up hill drive. Any away It's may not great job but surely it make lot of awareness in public to go for EVs .

This is a self charging bike,idea taken from cycle alternators, there were alternators on bycles, so basically that alternator is the source of reverse charging while driving by wheels rotation.

Charger means ( stepup or stepdown , transformer secondary wire winding out put of transformer). So, if existing moter having winding , think as primary winding , if created secondary wire for desirable power supply purpus winding in motor, out put as power source ( for charger ), what will be effect ?

If what they are saying is true. Then bike wouldn't move. If bike is moving, then it is using up battery's energy and over time battery will discharge. There may be a small current charging the battery from bike's dynamo, but this current will be too small to compensate for the Energy used to drive that bike. It demonstrates something, but it not a viable or practical replacement for fossil fuel. But overall congratulation. It is a good project.

It is unbelievable. Power is required for both running the bike as well as charging. Do this mean the generated electricity is much more than required for running the bike. What sort of generator is used in this bike

The most energy-efficient vehicle I have seen in the video can be spoted at 1:42. It's got four wheels too! At that age, the children are using their brains outside the classroom exercises and playground itself is something that we must appreciate and be proud of. They are geniuses. Hope they can improve it with experts' help and "learn a lot" along the way!
