Hey Guys! Have you ever held onto a lighter too long and you almost burned yourself? I wondered how long you can actually keep the lighter on before it melted. It took a couple of tries to get the end result. This was an awesome experiment that ultimatly required a fire extinguisher XD. Please do not try this at home!!! . . . boom. . .

I played with a ligther serveral years ago. I was melting a straw and let the hot plastic spill on the lighter housing. Suddenly the lighter cracked and with the gas, the hot plastic was now on my throat. Was not funny and it could it my eye. Now i have marks on my throat and learned my lesson.

Pull the hole black top off the lighter and light the white round thing the gas valve is in. And watch the fire balls. 3-4 if works well 1m-1mtr fire balls 👍🏻🇦🇺 give that a go. It's awesome to see💯👍🏻

There is a cool experiment with those kind of lighters, take the metal guard off and take of the spark wheel, but keep the spring that is holding the slim peace of flint, then take the flint out with the spring, wrap the spring around the flint then put a lighter flame on the flint until red hot and then just throw it on the ground and watch the sparks fly!! It's pretty fun and easy to do. But like all things involving flames and sparks use at your own risk.

The entire duration of this video, i had my hand on my dog's neck, trying to keep her away from my pop tart. She got really determined to eat it, but she couldn't seem to get my hand off her neck. I couldn't hear the second half of the video due cc to her whining. Even as i type this, she's licking and biting my hands and ipad. She won't stop bothering me even after i've eaten my pop tart. I have done this before and it most of the time explodes without fire. And the lighter is actually cold after it explodes instead of hot because of the liquid going into a gas.

there is a little trick u can do with the spring and the flint on them lighters. if u take out the flint and the spring wrap the spring around the flint at one end and get another lighter and hold the flame over the flint till it glows red then throw it at the floor it goes off like a little sparkler should try it out its good fun

the trick is to do it / show people in the dark. Your/ their eyes are drawn to the flame and when you stop the flame, your / their eyes are night blind so, when you throw the hot flint onto a hard surface, the effects are amplified. It's a great party trick but, be careful because a large flint throws off alot of sparks

I remember when i was a kid i use to find lighters that people had tossed on the ground, there would always be alittle lighter fluid left inside, just not enough for the lighter to light, then took them and threw them on the ground with the metal end going down, sometimes it took a few tries but eventually they would explode on impact, fun times

My friends and I used to do this back when we were young little pyros as boys often are. You make it go off with no additional parts by using the metal piece to jam the lever that pulls up the gas valve in the up position. Then you can do it with just one lighter. We would just stick the lighter in a hole :)
