Any trouble with village dogs? Having done it once with a guide I often think of doing it solo. But the village dog situation would worry me. During the day not a problem. But if you come in at dusk not a good scene.

Does the road/bus go beyond Jiri? If it does, does it distract or take away from your Jiri trek experience?

Nice video, I want to go back to Nepal soon, never done the Everest region, how quick (I know it’s not a race and have to enjoy every bit) do you think you can do Jiri to Lukla, also does the road go beyond Jiri now? I had heard the trail can start a little further up now? Thanks
