I feel like one thing no one is talking about is boarding school. I came home last Tuesday and it feels so strange to be in a normal routine. I used to eat at 5:45 in the evening for dinner and was just getting into a routine at school. Having changed schools already my first year of sixth form has been very strange. Eve's videos have really helped keep me motivated :-)
I was just about to start my studying but Eve posted. Lets hope I start studying after I finish this video. Edit: i did 2 hours of studying, better than nothing
Love love loveeed, Eve 💓 motivated me so much! To do things that keep your mind in a good place despite a level exams being cancelled. Also, love your fancy hardback by your desk at the end! Already can’t wait for your next video wahooo for the positivity 🥰❤️
I watch the videos out of interest because when I was at school many moons ago, there was no internet and so no study tubers to guide us along with study and exams etc. Obviously when I was a teenager and in the days of my parents, people did well and my uncle went to Oxord to study Maths and physics but for those students who needed some extra help and encouragement we just had face to face help rather than online. Thankfully i got my exams and have been in a good job for years so I am thankful for that but nowadays things are different and this platform is very good. I do study part time in the evenings and find the internet helpful for that

I am exactly the same when it comes to being productive school work/ duties wise. Like my school has told us to keep revising but that’s gonna be do hard to stay focused throughout. It will probs be quite relaxed though since the revision isn’t aimed at anything in particularly. Other than that I have a lot of free time. Year 11 finished way too early.🥺
schools have been closed for a month here in Italy, two weeks ago we were told that we couldn't leave the house anymore if not for emergencies and today industries closed, but we still reached 50.000 people positive to coronavirus please stay inside and be careful everybody!!!
Thankyou for the video 😊. I am in year 13, and so am completing any remaining A level work from home. I am still trying to revise even though exams are cancelled as I still need to consolidate course content I have just learned ready for the next academic year. Productivity videos like this definitely help inspire me to be more productive whilst working at home.
Hope your self isolation stays blessed and if ya run out of things to watch on RU-vid I’d really appreciate the support and I’m almost certain there will be more than 1 edit that puts a smile on your face. Stay blessed stay safe and hopefully speak soon.
Hey Eve, loved this vid 😊I stopped playing piano around 6 years ago having played it for 4ish years (learning with a teacher); I've been meaning to pick it up again and I want to do so now since I have a lot of time on my hands; do you have any tips on how I could get back into it now that I don't have a teacher at my disposal? Like any online resources, techniques you have used to improve etc. Thanks!
I particularly enjoyed your piano segment, and hearing about your love for Billy Joel. I got to discover "Summer Highland Falls" thanks to this vlog, and see comments from its many admirers. I think his classical background makes for a lot of influences from guys like Bach and Scarlatti. I'll bet if you played his "James" (one of MY favorite songs of his) and switched to harpsichord, you'd hear it right away.
I'm on day 8 of self isolation. My gym and work closed down so I have no place to be for the time being. The only thing that counts as fun now is a occasional grocery store trip.
I've written lots of papers for various subjects throughout my university career and can say that it's helpful depending on how much you need assistance in your writing (if that makes any sense!!). I'm a pretty decent writer, but I'm terrible at passive voice and it has helped a lot with that. It's good for small mistakes, but I wouldn't rely on it entirely. It's great to catch mistakes and grammar errors (as it's named after) but it's not great in helping with the structure of your paper! Hope that helps
Ellen Nhln no grades will be based on teacher assessments but if you are unhappy with the grades you get there will be a chance to sit them once school reopens again. We get the grades before July
I'm supposed to be seeing Phantom over the summer and I'm going to cry floods if it gets cancelled lmao T_T Not to mention the concert and holiday I have planned too lmao
Shohidul Ahmed so we get grades from teachers similar to predicted grades and they are the same as ‘normal’ grades. but if we aren’t happy i think we can appeal those grades and if not we have the option to resit in either autumn (as soon as schools can feasibly stay open, basically) or summer 2021 when the current year 12s will be taking theirs. hopefully universities will be more lenient with grades because of the circumstances though.
if you're unhappy with the grades you've been given by your teachers, there will be an opportunity to appeal or sit the A Level exams as soon as colleges and schools open again. and universities will delay the start time for us. all the best x
