Welcome to the hair-cutting club! Inq has been cutting his hair for years (though nowadays he uses his clippers to do it), and then, when he finally convinced me to cut my hair short(er), he did the honors as well. When he wasn't around, it fell on my to cut my own hair, but nowadays I just employ him to do that again since I'm technically blind.
I think I could easily cut mine to shoulder length because it’s so straight. It wouldn’t necessarily look great though 😁 Ian’s is a pain because he has waves in his hair that don’t behave
That was fun! Jo, you did a pretty good job for a first time cut! I actually cut my own hair two weeks ago and didn't do too bad a job, but using the "unicorn-ponytail" method left me with longer bits in the in the front than I wanted. I may give it a go again in about a week, changing the location of the ponytail (had it closer to the crown than the forehead) ... we'll see. The birds will love the hair for nesting material! Until the next video, TTFN
The unicorn method? Not heard of that one before- but I can imagine how it would work. It’s got to be a pain cutting your own hair, i’m sure I could do it in a pinch- but I’m not that worried about it. TTFN 👋!
Looks good Ian, Jo really knows how to create a toy boy lol. I remember my mum used to cut my hair with blunt clippers and it would feel like it was ripping my hair out lol
I expect a few local bird's nests will be lined with Ian's hair soon. Great idea to cut out of doors, no sweeping etc. Aside from sorting lighting issues and tidying up the bathroom.
Cheers guys, I guess I’m lucky I’m Balding and I’ve been cutting my hair for the last 20 years. I couldn’t see spending $30 they’re trying to charge now here in California USA for a haircut. And of course with the coronavirus there’s no haircut places at this time open. Be safe you guys.
Do the two correlate? 😉 I don’t blame you for not wanting to pay that for a haircut- that’s what they charge for a basic ladies haircut here (but in £) so I just let mine grow until I can’t stand it anymore. Hope you are nice and safe too! - Jo
@@IanandJo it is a very stressy thing. Used to do hubbies when he had hair down to his bum..trim it all up. Now I have the "honour" of shaving it completely on buzz cut, and doing facial hair... beard and tash is terrifying too, as one slip and the face is completely changed!
Fortunately I haven't had to resort to cutting it myself. I don't think I am brave enough for that. Besides how are you supposed to see the back properly? Ian
