Hello, I am a magician from Poland. I have many years of experience performing on stage. Some time ago, I saw Paul Daniels' levitation trick. I would like to add this trick to my repertoire. I have been trying to figure out the secret to this trick for a long time. Could you explain to me how to perform this trick? Is it possible to purchase this secret? Best regards, and I look forward to your response.
In the 2 years since i posted this video, I have had nearly a hundred requests from people saying that they are magicians and they would very much appreciate it if I would tell them how this is done. What magician in their right mind would ask another to give away their performing secrets? Seriously people?
I completely agree! I've been a magician for 10 years and at most I could see inquiries about you selling the trick to them, but for them to ask you to just tell them is completely ludicrous
If I had to guess, I would say there is a beam on the right side of the box. Good illusion and it was done really well. I saw other people on You Tube doing it who should not be doing it.
@magicmandj so clearly you know how his version was done. Genuine question: How do you know for sure it is not the same method if magicians never give away their secrets?
Except that Nick Einhorn says that Paul Daniels got the idea from him. I really have no idea who first came up with the concept. I do know that this is my own method since I have never met either of them or seen them perform in person.
Obvious cut but otherwise good I like the use of cardboard to make it seem like a normal box couldn't see a way for it to hold the glass gg cheers mate good stage trick
This would be a great illusion, and quite amazing if the video was taken without breaks. The cuts in the video lead me to believe there is more hardware involved than meets the eye and this is just a camera trick.
You would be wrong. the cut in the video was because it took me a few minutes to find the knife and to gather up the curtain. this is exactly how it looks live. And it can be done surrounded.
