interlocking microlocs using 2 point rotation in real-time. this is for all of my visual learners.
sit back, relax, and watch me retie my diy microlocs using 2 point rotation
what is 2 point rotation:
- entering the loc from 2 directions to interlock new growth
- i try to end all my rotations in the down direction so my locs lay flat
- 2 point rotation is said to give more volume compared to a 4 point rotation (less uniformity in the loc)

Omg I just got my starter micro locs 3 weeks ago. But idk what styles to do yet. But you are my inspiration I want my locs to look just like yours💗🫶🏿but all the kids at my middle school said they are ugly😭😭 my mom said micro locs can help my hair grow faster. I have 298 locs total. I love my locs and nobody can change that💗🫶🏿 ur awesome 👏🏿

How long would you say it takes you to finish your whole head & when do your roots start to grow out?

Hey I see everyone saying don’t enter the interlock the same way I left off so how will I remember which locs I ended off with ?

hi! if you interlock the same direction 2x you’ll create a whole in your loc. i usually tell people to look for the split which can be hard to explain but you’ll know what i’m talking about once you do it. but i try to end all of my rotations the same direction which is down. so usually i know to pick back up in the other direction

why do you do the two-point vs 4 point rotation?

i do 2 point for more volume in my locs. 4 or gives you more of a uniform loc. also if you have finer hair 4 point may be better because it gives you more structure compared to 2 point.
