U got all that.. Only u chocking on your own voice.. U need to let it go.. Throw ur voice infront of u, dont swallow it.. U holding ur power.. Dont hold it, so much more in there..
I’m subscriber 114. I normally would never even comment but this dude is awesome and is going to blow up! Keep up the good work man. I am interested to hear more and know tips! I’m currently on day 3 of self taught lessons and feel like I’ll never be good. (I’m the guy who people would make fun of when they hear me sing)
Wow, I really appreciate this comment! And keep at it, you’ll definitely get better. Just have fun doing it. I always enjoyed singing so I never really looked at the practicing aspect as a task
Your Vibrato will come out easier if you don’t be so tight in the throat. You have an amazing voice. And better breath support would make it a lot more comfortable I’m also self teaching myself and I watch a vocal coach called Victoria Victorious technique and she’s a great teacher.
sajiste I have a vocal exercise playlist that I made on my channel, I did a lot of those. At one point I practiced every day for like 3 months for atleast 15 minutes. I really think lip trills are very good exercises, singing through a straw. I really tried to work on my mixed voice and do mixed voice exercises, also singing songs that are right at the edge of where your voice cracks helps. It will get easier the more you do it. You sort have to push your voice a little but not too much, and you wanna make sure you rest it too. I also like to drink a lot of hot tea before I sing and after, that will make it easier for you to sing beforehand and it will help your vocal cords relax afterwards.
jouskin Practicing scales mostly, doing things like lip trills. And look up middle range and high range exercises. There’s a RU-vidr called Jacobs vocal academy and he has a lot of good vocal exercises for everything, I used his exercises a lot my self.
jouskin I started practicing singing in like 2011 I believe, it took many years but I wasnt consistent at all when for alot of the first years I was practicing which is a big factor. I think you could probably see great results in 6 months to a year if you practice singing every day.
Evianna Charmes Thanks a lot ! Sorry for the late response but I used a bunch of techniques I found on RU-vid and practiced for atleast 15 min every day when I was consistent. I have a playlist I made for myself of vocal exercises I used, ima drop the link below
savonjr16 thank you so much for responding. I’m going to check them out and justed subscribe to your channel. I get discouraged about singing but this really motivated me to try and sing better
Paula williams I haven't practiced alot lately but I still have improved even more after this video. I'll do another update eventually. Thanks for asking!
Alex Vlogs Yeah I sang along with songs as a way of practice also, I didn’t really do karaoke. I think it helps to try to emulate an artists voice sometimes or moreso trying to emulate their technique if that’s the kind of singing you want to achieve.
Paul Song Around 15-20 minutes. At one point I was practicing everyday for 3 months. I slowed down but I still sing everyday which I think can still be beneficial if youre trying to sing something that’s difficult of course.
