Here is a self undercut haircut tutorial. I was growing out my sides and back but I just couldn't take it anymore so I gave myself a full undercut using a #00000 guard.

Finally a simple haircut. I hate the fade cut because you have to do so many numbers and guides to blend it out. But this cut looks great !!!!

As a hairdresser and someone who has cut their own undercut for the last 9 years, I love the fresh feeling of a shave, i can't let my sides/back grow more than 3 weeks before I need it shaved. I love the look and it looks great on you. Next time you should try to do your own fade. That's how I learned to do a fade originally. It wasn't taught in my course so I taught myself and the class how to fade. Looking forward to what you do next.

I've tried getting rid of my undercut like 4 times now and keep failing to grow it out because it felt gross after about 2 months. I love the clean shave on the sides feel.

Suits you mate. Had this style about year and a half ago. It's unbelieveable how nice it feels when first cut.... Now I'm 2 months into going from a version of this where hair comes to my nose, to a longer style. So hard not to just go back to this.

I get my haircut like this, and I really like it. I did feel pretty “extra” at first, but I got over it after a while. Now I’m growing the top out probably past my shoulders and I’m just gonna leave the sides shaved.

I remember in one of your old Undercut vids, you said if you had hair on the top part of your head, you'd probably have an undercut! Awesome to see you experimenting with that now, with that innovative Hair System! I have a total disconnect undercut like yours, except the longer top part is shorter at the back and sides so it moves forwards. I shave the sides myself too every week 'out of convenience' and use the sectioning clips and a comb at the disconnect as a guard, so I don't go over and cut the longer hair.

Normally I end up doing like a high fade borderline disconnect with my undercut for the Fury cut but I think I’m just going to fully disconnect it with no fade .. looks good!

I think you would benefit with a little less density hair unit. Or, maybe thin out the sides and back of the unit to make it not look so heavy. Excited to see what you come up with regarding cutting edge hair unit ideas. I know the African American hair is different texture and they can go to say a #1 looking buzz cut but to do anything less than say a 1/4" with straight hair is going to be an art that has not been done yet to my knowledge. Well, unless you count the Japanese company called Propia who had a hair unit made by a computer/machine and they had a demo of the owner shaving the hair off to a #1 guard.

Im 19(who care) and i also did my self diamond undercut It was a hell of a process.im also growing out dsome disproportionate hair length. I used hair clipper, mirror and a phone to reflect.Also his tutorials of it back then. I need undercut because my hair is bushy on the sides. Not bad for budget hair cutting. It didn't turned out perfect diamond tho but im satisfied

You look fresh, it looks good. One suggestion, if I may... Is when you start from the sides, place a palm of your hand on the hair line where your top and bottom meet at the top of your skull and hold it there as your cutting up the side, that way you're not cutting some hairs from your line. The side of your hand, your pinky, acts as a guard that protects your line from being crossed over by the clippers as your buzzing your sides. I've started cutting my own hair "under cut/slicked back" style for the last 6 months and It works for me everytime. My goal is to grow my top hair as long as down to my butt. Long live the "under cut"

I do it myself also but not this extreme, you can also just use a low number on the sides and back whilst clipping the rest up. Its easy to do and immediately looks clean, without losing length at the top. When I ask the barber the same I always lose way too much length on top since they never can leave it alone somehow. So better result and much cheaper.

it looks better with longer hair, i think your hair was a bit short, mine goes down to my chin so. and i want more of a brody dalle punk look. but you're right with short hair you can really only brush it back otherwise it looks a bit awkward. but with hair that goes past your lips it looks killer. thanks for your tips stephen. I would’ve liked to see a low or mid fade, and see you keep growing the corners out to make your hair system look more blended eventually. I definitely agree on keeping it shorter on the sides because(especially in the back) it’s pretty sparse. But you should try growing the corners!

I think I should do this instead of fades cause I've got a large head and it makes it look a lot better when it's clean shaven at the back and side. No barber listens though, think I gotta try this

Welcome to my world. Since barbers kept buzzing my head I started cutting my hair. Most of the work is cutting around the ears and neck. Skin zero seems too low. I go with a 1 blend to a 3 or 4 guard trying to grow the length on top. Maybe try to part your length and cut out the weight?

Hi! I used to work at a place where they offered these systems but i didnt like it for a career i tegret not learning morr about it. I would say let the sides grow and spray them with the hair fiber spray to make it thicker on the sides so it blends better. Also they do offer systems with less density. I think if you pluck the front hair line a little you might get a more natural look. Ive seen so many videos on RU-vid that show you how to do this on a lace front wig. ❤

Hot! I would have considered leaving the back hair to the length covering the "head wrinkle" about 1-2" below the occiput. This would enhance the sexiness of the cut and stopped comparisons of a bowl cut. Styling: You could throw all your hair towards the left side. Slick it back. Go messy. Bravo to your vision and bravery!

Front and side profiles are great. Back is a bit weird, though. Too extreme. Needs a little shortness to round the edge up in my opinion. Still, very interesting.

So this is the first video I've ever seen from you, but I'm curious. Did you consider medication protocols for growing your own new hair before going with implants? I've seen some crazy results even just from topicals. Saw one guy go from a super thin scraggly beard, to a full thickness beautiful beard that he could actually grow out. It's pretty amazing what modern medication can do
