I bought the foam craft ball awhile ago, but I didn't know what I wanted to do with it. I thought of it while I was working on a few other things last week. I think it turned out great! What do you think?
looks awesome, you should put together a moss care guide going over different types and how they grow best. every time i put together a terrarium i end up killing half the moss by having it either too dry or too wet
The juxtaposition of the stark lines and symmetrical angles of the opaque and man made structure done in the most minimalist fashion against the simple single toned smooth and round river rocks is brilliant. The globe has life and it flows down to those natural structures. The fact that it is static in nature is evocative. It reminds us that we are all living in the natural world and even though we see permanence, the essential nature of our existence (whether we build the white stark structures to capture nature) or embrace nature in the moment; It is ever changing. And we must understand that from a time perspective. The laminar flow exemplifies this lack of permanence in both mans creation and nature's creation. A truly exceptional piece. Thank you.
I feel like the biggest thing your channel is missing is regular update on each creation. Let's say I want to make something similar to this. I have no idea if it grew well or if everything is dead. What worked and what did not. Would love seeing a playlist for each terrarium, vivarium, paludarium or any -arium for that matter so I can see what pitfalls you hit and learn from your mistakes and successes.
Hey tanner hope all is well ..... You know I gotta say I loved the fact that there wasn't any background music no talking ( please don't be offended we love to hear you explain your process when you're working on a specific project or any project and love the sound of your voice) just the sound of you working and the sound of materials being worked on idk I kinda found it very relaxing 😎 just watching ❤️ absolute great 💡👍 idea for these lil balls... Thank you for the video loved it!!!! P. S. I have grown to love ALL KINDS OF MOSS cause of you and your wonderful beautiful work with this type of plant!!
A wonderful video to watch nice and early while I drank my coffee. The build really is mesmerizing watching the steady water streaming down onto the moss. There's something just magical about listening to water. I'll take water on rocks any day haha
The comment may be a bit behind your post, but thank you so much for the soothing, peaceful calm you provide in your videos. My life is so full of anxiety, I watch true crime videos after my boyfriend falls asleep to relax. With that said I've always loved horticulture, at a very young age my dad made me a terrarium and taught me how to care for it (or how not to care for it lol)... my parents unfortunately went their separate ways when I was 5 but my terrarium was to stay at my moms house with me so I could enjoy it until the weekend when I could be surrounded by plants, animals, fish and nature. Until the tragic day I came home from school that my mom stayed home from work. She decided to water all of the plants in our house. Including my terrarium. I was heartbroken. I always had a stronger bond with my dad, that day made it even more solid. I watch your videos to find zen before I sleep myself. Again thank you.
You should make a whole room into one big vivarium or something similar and then when you build new ones you have a source of inspiration, serenity, and the good vibes associated with them all around you
There are not enough words to describe how amazing you are and your videos are. You have the perfect low key tone to your voice while providing such amazing content. Your videos are the best form of happiness and therapeutic content
I think the regular videos with you talking and explaining so calmly are even more relaxing. In fact, I´m using them when I take some time to rest. It´s my favorite to have in the background when I´m resting. Thank you!
These videos are the only thing that would make me consider paying for ad-free RU-vid. Loved this, and the ad was so jarring! Great build, great video.
Wow the details in this build is absolutely crazy !! ❤️💯 I can't even tell or see the lil metal tact's u made to hold the moss I place !!! Great 👍💯 job tanner !!!!
I love your work. I am impressed with how you can make something as beautiful and inspiring as moss even more elegant by adding your creative touches. Keep it up!
The Moss King wows us again with another piece of living art. I love these “silent” builds. It’s so relaxing watching you work. Keep doing what you’re doing! 👍
You should try sticking your finger in soapy water before removing the excess silicone, it won't stick to your fingers as much and it will look cleaner. Just a tip ☺️
It's so amazing to see how far you've come with your crafting skills. I remember subscribing to your channel when you used to only make terrariums. Watching you grow is such a beautiful thing to witness.
I love every aspect of this one. Also you're cutting skills with the glass are so good. Proud of you. That looks so simple and calm and pretty. I hope I can make it one day. Can you update us on its wellbeing later on? Thanks so much for this one.
I love your videos, you make me happy and that's quite an impact. I'm preparing my workshop so in a few weeks/months I will have my first terrarium ! good luck and happy times for the next videos ^^
The hell, the waterflows so smooth and steady without making any rippels I could have sworn I was watching photos at the end, had to go back when you laid out the moss to realize the it was all moving footage. Looked like you worked on a stopped frame. Awesome!
Beautiful.. and inspirational! I'm now adding to my to-do list to make one of these, but I'm going to go with a theme of Green Earth in Space. So, use different types of moss to differentiate water/land, and the structure is going to be night sky-themed, maybe with appropriate lighting/stones.. perhaps a small light option that is the Sun in the distance (say in the central pillar, above and behind the Earth) and maybe lighting in/around the base using blues.. hmm.. could even use a "christmas lights" kind of idea for stars...
I love these videos. It's so quiet while you work. It's very satisfying and calming. I wish my house was even a third this quiet, sometimes. Lol. ×* & you make this look TOO easy... gorgeous *×
