NLP or Neuro Linguistic Programming has created an incredible foundation for me in my pursuit of mastering my life, which is why I teach it in my self improvement trainings and apply it when I do life coaching or help people with their businesses. NLP is a powerful model that will help you accelerate your results. It's also the ultimate state management toolkit.
Ever wonder where Tony Robbins got his understandings of human behavior and influence? NLP was a major part of his education as a self improvement guru.

This answers so many questions, 99% of people have or have had this problem, I have compared myself to others my entire life

This was an exceptionally valuable talk. I understand, even deeper the value of eliciting Values. And shines a bright light on the question "are you worthy". Thank you for this 🙏

this is such an interesting perspective for many reasons so thank you for this. the main question that comes to my mind is could this be the distinction for those who are "lost" because they don't know "themselves" because they are following what other people say is of value/worthy? and because we are taught to "be good boys and girls" (other people's values and definition/criteria) until you have your own core values, then you have nothing solid and reliable to then "hold" yourself too and so hopelessly continue to follow the "self worth" concept that ultimately leads certainly to dissatisfaction and ultimately misery and depression.

Paul, very well said - thank you. Knowing what "my" values are is the key point 👌before we can really honor or love "myself."

It looks like your question turned into a statement lol. But I will still say, yes. Part of the haphazard, mostly unconscious, process of creating your self-concept is feedback from others often offered to us when we're children as judgements.

@@DamonCart it was a statement that this question came to my mind 😆

Surely anything to do with the self, and self worth, has to be measured in a subjective way. But using reasonable objectivity as a guide. So the reasonable objectivity would entail being honest with ourselves as to whether our actions and behaviours are generally good, as in doing no intentional harm to others directly or indirectly. And then assessing who we are as a person based on the real world results of our actions. Obviously this is vastly simplified, as the reality is likely to be a great deal more complex than just that. In order to even reach such a stage would mean we will have undergone a lot of self reflection, something many do not seem to do, and learned to understand ourselves and, at least the basics of, how our minds work. Currently I am only 7 minutes into the video, which is very interesting, so may comment again at some point.

@@duyngo2370 sounds like you're giving me a compliment. Thank you. However, I don't believe in self-worth. I explain in the video how because your self cannot be measured and self-worth implies a measurement of your value, it creates a lot of problems. Self-esteem is different. Self-esteem is how you feel about you. It's important to derive your self-esteem from being satisfied with who you are, which is based on your beliefs about yourself.
