Selkirk Mountains of Idaho July 2023 

A week of camping and hiking in the Idaho panhandle, southern Selkirk Mountains and Kaniksu National Forest.
We hiked to Harrison Lake (and Harrison Peak but no pictures since it was foggy), Roman Nose Peak and lakes, Saddle Mountain (some bushwhacking) , Shorty & Lone Tree peaks, Hidden Lake and Red Top Mountain.
Spent three nights camping along Cow creek near confluence with Smith creek. Our dog Zoe enjoyed lots of swimming in Cow creek as well as in the many lakes we visited.
Then on to Schweitzer Basin ski area where we hiked the nature trail to the top and Annette accomplished her 900th summit!
Mt. Roothaan was our last and best hike, beautiful area and hike/scramble with excellent views.
