I remember you once were tired of WNN. But keep on. Better than ever and since a couple of episodes you really give me the news. Dope Plugins this time.
Dude when I saw this I rushed to buy that bloom palette object. I got on the hook to buy the whole Exite Audio bundle because it was on Sale. Then I decided to do some research. One of the youtubers demonstrating this palate thing played a bit and you can legit hear the sound of a flushing toilet. I mean It still sounds sick and looks like an awesome instrument but maybe I should just challenge myself to make field recordings, it's not like it's difficult to do that lol. Another one in their bundle Bloom Vocal Aether I watched some youtubers and it's legit just like mapping a vocal sample to a midi keyboard, super easy to do in Ableton. I'm really not sure about the Bloom range, the Bass one looks legit but not sure about the rest, the drum instrument for making breaks would be fire if you could import samples but apparently that isn't a thing yet. If you get the time Weaver maybe you could look at the Bloom range and compare it to other VST's. Nice Vid as always, thanks dude
Personally love working with the Bloom series, super easy to get results with presets and messing around on the edit page. Spose it just depends what you’re after. (Saw on the plugin boutique channel that sample import is coming in an update too 🤞)
I have a ton of these bloom things and they're all very limited. The graphic in the middle is just some looping animation, and the rest is basically just Arcade or one of these "hold a key and have a pre written sequence play". Think a much more limited Playbox.
@@Weaverbeats I can’t put the link but it’s Greg Kocis - 1st look at bloom palate object - At 59 seconds onwards sure I heard a flush sound lol 😂 I bought it! Found a bundle for $100 with all 5 of the Bloom Instruments and a free vocoder. I bought Ultrasonic death whistle too because it was on Sale. Thanks again Weaver Beats 🙏
The best news about the Maschine 3.0 pending update is that the Maschine Studio and Jam are still supported. So NI essentially cherry picked the gear chosen to become obsolete. The initial news did not allow this distinction (about Jam and Studio) to be really heard. Now if Maschine 2 and 3 can live on the same system without interfering with each other, the update is a guaranteed win.
@@LMN22 well they did Dis Continue Studio 5yrs ago so who kno's 😂, the fact that they chose to still support it means they still rocking with it for a while longer
My Maschine Mk1 and Mikro Mk2 broke a decade ago, so I'm safe there. Now when if they decide to phase out the Studio, I'll be pissed. At least they still work with Maschine 2
@@JayfkProductions876 I feared the worst when I saw headlines. It's over a decade old but looks like they'll support it for at least some portion of the 3.0 lifespan
This is why I don't get "controller hardware". Sure with Windows your outdated software most likely will last you another decade with few to no hoop jumps needed, but with a fully integrated hardware everything will be working as long as hardware works regardless of the current year and if a certain computer manufacturer decides to switch a CPU architecture at some point down the line.
Like Waldorf Rocket monosynth that has parameters that can be accesed only via iOS app that need ios 5. Or a Focusrite audiointerface that has no drivers for new operating systems.
Easy answer for the price question at 2:20, it's always on sale like every other plug-in maker. Why, don't they just make the sale price regular price.
I'm kinda with Espen Kraft on how he sets up his DAWs: keep 'em offline. I think NI still lets you get activation keys for this? newer versions coming out? so what. not supported on newer OSes? who cares, it's offline.
Influx is just beastly, Using it in darkwave production is amazing. Amigo is cool but i mean i already own an Amiga, It's cool but does not compare to the actual computer itself.
Yes. It's not an Amiga replacement of course. But when I'm in my DAW it's my go to sampler as it's so fast and simple when making jungle or og rave music. I work much faster in it than other samplers since it has everything I need right there. And honestly, as an Amiga user myself, its better than any other amiga emulation plugin.
The video title is super clickbaitey. NI dropped support for certain older Maschine controllers. Honestly if you’re still using those units 15 years later you should probably just upgrade at this point, the MK3 and M+ are really nice
just keep your mac without updating. maschine 2 is so old macs that can run it can be bought for 100 bucks. the mac store will give you any os you want on a new ssd and you are on your way
I won’t be buying the bloom instrument. All those light triangles on an orange backdrop gave me a seizure! They need an epilepsy warning on their plugin.
i was always curious abt maschine, why not just get a controller (like a Push) that works with your daw instead of being tied to a third party company?
@@vukan.mp3 You do Realize The Push is for Ableton right? It's literally built by & built for Ableton. Maschine is built by Native Instruments & Built for Maschine Software, It's a Hardware + Software Package, unless u choose the Maschine+ which is the semi stand alone version.
