These late sixties early seventies English built 650s & 750s were pure fun to ride . they looked good and went around bendy roads so well, they had low down grunt but let them get up on song and they would get going. Beautiful fun Motorcycles..

It isnt just late sixties and early seventies, English built bikes which go and handle. My last Brit bike was an A65 Lightning from 1963. It was a brilliant bike. The handling was flawless the brakes were good and it was good for 110 mph

I rebuilt a Thunderbolt and when I had it run-in, I decided to take it down the motorway to see what it would do. I got to 95mph and had to slow down, as the vibration was so bad, everything was just a blur and I thought it would just shake apart.

I think you should try to find a 72-75 Kawasaki H2 750. They are really unique bikes, 3 cylinder 2-stroke 70+ horsepower. Great series and great channel, by the way. I hope the subscribers pick up like TFLcar and Truck.

Wish my in headlight wiring was that simple on my YamahaXS1100. Not a bad looking BSA but not in my budget right now and no room for it either honestly. Doesn't stop me wanting it.

I remember going to Andy Pelks, a dealer in Allen Park, Mi., when this was a new machine. I pulled the front brake lever and the forks would not even move! They must have been hammered together! What killed British motorcycle?

Question..Did you put Additive in with the fuel ? as I will guess this was meant to run on leaded fuel and un-leaded will burn out the exhaust valve.

My mate rides a 1952 BSA A10 and has done for years, he just fills his with unleaded and has never had any issues with the valves, I ride a Triumph from 1978 and I just use unleaded, no issues with mine either, they run OK, maybe we are just lucky, but we don't ride fast, 50 mph most of the time so that might have something to do with it.

@@scootergeorge9576 Just goofing on you. What a beauty. I love those old BSAs and other Brit bikes but BSAs best of all. The closest I can get right now is a retro CB1100 leftover from 2014 that I snagged new for $6,199. Not even close I know but an air-cooled throw back to 1969 is as close as it gets right now (and probably ever for me.) Sure wish I could wear out my leg trying to kick it over but it starts every time with that right thumb. At least Honda was kind enough to build in the ticking sound from the fins during cool down.

@@gwilliamwallace Back when I was in high school, the next door neighbor had a BSA Gold Star 500 single. Set up for racing. He would take it out on the adjacent vacant land and ride it dirt track style. Power sliding. With a wide open megaphone exhaust it was totally bad ass.
