Fasting is awesome but it takes a couple of times before you start to appreciate it and get used to it. Whenever I do fasting, I usually have two very low calorie meals each day - raw vegetables, seafood, fish with low oil content... You can fill up your stomach in a good way without getting bloated. Some people would perhaps not call my strategy fasting but I could not care less, it works for me both in terms of losing weight and makes me feel better.
I’d say that falls more into an elimination diet where you eliminated all foods except for a select few. Good way to lose weight especially when you are limiting carbs. The carnivore diet I was on is a very extreme form of an elimination diet. Lost 91 lbs on that one.
