With the prices of EVERYTHING in the stores it is a bargain to get things gently used that serve the same purpose! It is hard enough to make it week to week so your sales are more than reasonable and you make money too. Thanks for all you do.
Hi Taco! You did very well today!! Sometimes you don’t realize you’re tired until you stop for a few minutes then it hits you! Lol. But I’m 73 and you’re still a young man! You’re just out of “flea market practice “! Lol. Rest up! Blessings always! ❤️✝️😊
The early bird gets the $! An excellent example of selling at a NJ Flea Market… Congrats, When I did flea Markets in the past, I used to bring roll up rugs, as they are usually great to display stuff on the ground and they don’t take up much room, you might want to consider those rugs as you can also use them as table covers or table cloths!
I haven't been to Columbus in years and everytime I have had plans to go it rains! I am going to try again in a few weeks and hopefully it is a nice day 🤞
I know the early bird gets the worm, but were the worms awake?!? Fun seeing you sell items from your treasure hunts. Thanks for taking me to the flea market TS.
I really liked this video. You were covered the whole time you were there. Glad you got to see Tony on the way home. Hope he is doing ok. I love you. Stay safe! ❤️😘💞💞💞🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻✌️👶
14:15 Whoever told you that knife could be a Spyderco has absolutely no clue what they're talking about. LOL. That's like seeing a dollar store watch and telling people it might be a Rolex.
I grew up going to Columbus, Zern's, Golden Nugget, Flemington, and Rices in the 80s with my parents. I fondly remember my dad getting raw cherrystones at one of the stalls. And those amazing sauteed mushrooms. Never got food poisoning!
Happy you had some great sales and made room in the warehouse. This weekend here in CT its suppose to be in the 50s. Hopefully its the same there especially if you sell at the flea market
That was a busy flea market. I'm glad you didn't sell your jacket, I believe that's the one you found trash picking. Wearing a jacket you found is a sign of a professional. I also wear a few favorite things I've found.
There's another reseller of storage lockers that at the end of each day at the flea market the last hour he shouts "Everything is a dollar Dollar Sale. Of course he pulls the better items before the dollar sale
@@edie4321let me know what flea markets those are if they're local so I don't set up and sell there. I love blowing everything out at the end of the day. If you got a bunch of stuff that's just random and cheap stuff, get rid of it and make room for more stuff
Hello Taco I watched all videos on RU-vid awesome I love trash picking, looking for treasure II finally am able to subscribe and hit the thumbs up button I was watching everything off my rokue now I hope my tablet is were I need to be keep the videos coming thanks for keeping it real I have also started watching paper and moose oh yes I am Carol from Logan Ohio
If you are setting up on Thursday, you don't have to show up when still dark really, specially in Winter. You'll find plenty of space on both side. This Winter Columbus is using both sides. As for the beat up tables or not enough tables, this time of the year, with so many empty spaces you won't be charged extra if you use more than the amount of tables you're allowed. I do it all the time.😂😂
You’re right about the containers. same size is real important so I know you know about banana boxes but apple boxes and orange boxes from the grocery store are very similar in size and a lot of the orange boxes will break down for Storage and you can fold them back up till when you need them. They were real well too. You know don’t mean to be nosy and I don’t think you’ll be offended by. Buy this… just wondering, like money wise, what did you do at this flea market? About four hours total driving, right?
Any flea market that has tables as opposed to just random crap on the ground is better for me and I think better for selling all around. You're going to get higher prices without people having to stoop over and rummage through boxes on the ground
The “spider” knife is an absolute cheapo. Other viewers probably the it was a SPYDERCO knife which do have value both as collector pieces and/or everyday users. If you ever have questions about the value of any knives you find feel free to reach out, I’m a buyer, seller, and collector.
What a great day, next time sell more $1 items that you had/stored for a while. And bring more gear and tables 😉 Seems like a better flea market to sell at regularly.
Taco, I never heard of a vendor leaving so early from a flea market - you said that by 10am you leave? Usually vendors here in South Florida leave at 4 or 5pm, because on Saturdays and Sundays the garage sales are usually till 2am and then people go to the flea market. So leaving so early is really strange to me. Why would you leave when you are paying for a spot there? Even if it is slower afterwards you could make more sales?
There are certain markets where after a certain time you're not going to make another nickel. The crowds Peter out and you're just sitting there staring at the other dealers who are left. As long as there's some people walking around shopping, I'll stay, but at a certain point the crowd is gone
you really should start focusing on it being content and not merchandise and do a dollar sale and then free sale before packing up. You can ofc pull some high dollar items but you save ur self soo much time doing dollar sale into a free sale.
