After everything Nakita is doing to the Tarkov player base, this is a much more friendly of a game to those who are new to extraction shooters. Unironically slaps harder than Tarkov rn
There are some excellent extraction type servers now where everything east of say Kamyshovo is a safe zone and the rest of the map is pvp. It makes for neat little player villages and a fresh play-style for the game. Glad to see Sam back in though regardless of his opinion on the game lol

One of my the worst things about DayZ is that the zombies are pointless, half the time they can be ignored the other half they just swarm you as they clip through terrain and objects.

Honestly a DayZ game with zombies that matter would be great. That's why I'm so addicted to zomboid. Hell, nothing matters in DayZ. In an hour you've got all the food and gear you'll need.
fun fact if you’re tired of hearing maria menudos talk about whatever at the pump; most gas pumps have 8 physical buttons total, 4 on each side of the screen. the second button down from the top of the right 9/10 times is a mute button so you no longer have to listen to maria menudos.

7:59 I've literally been waiting since 2012 for someone to just make DayZ/Overpoch mod that has decent fps, zombies that don't clip through the wall and not breaking my legs occasionally when opening a door. I don't want to have to eat an entire army base worth of food to not need to eat for 5 minutes, I don't want to loot for 4 hours to get a gun with a mag with bullets just for it to jam, I don't want all my shit to break if I get into a fight and I don't want to download 100gb worth of mods and to jump between servers for 2 hours trying to find one that makes the experience half passable. If DayZ mod wasn't basically dead and had extremely bad security flaws in it I'd unironically still be playing it.
Its because no AAA or AA studio has made a DayZ style game yet. For some reason larger dev studios don’t have any desire to make a PvP survival multiplayer game like this, idk why. They’re popular
Bro I totally agree about the fuckin no good dayz type games thing. I've always wanted an open world zombie survival game where you just do whatever. So far the only good one is project zomboid but it just doesn't scratch that itch

With all of the things going on with Tarkov rn I knew Sam still wanted to play Tarkov but not Tarkov so he chose the next best thing which is DayZ Tarkov and I'm happy that he did, I enjoyed his previous him so this should be fun.

I survived on the escape from Chernarus map for 3 months. Base never got touched. One of the best games ever. Period. The way you play Day Z is very refreshing! You can take the man out of Tarkov. But you can't take Tarkov out of the man. Salute xoxo
