I'm at Showvaker's Quality Evergreens or CornFusion .net and it's in Manchester Maryland it's one of my best events for the season. I called the farm up and they get 25% of my sales and my helper gets $30-$50 a day in tips. We sometimes bring lunch or have lunch on the farm they have someone there doing funnel cakes and hotdogs. There are so many people on the farm that our sales are never effected by a little competition. Thanks for watching guys and gals and kettle corn fans. Do you make your own machines? That's cool. Yeah. 2 years ago was great. This year I cooked 10 months out of the year. So. I am looking forward to this year.

Daniel, 25% of sales is way too much plus you pay your helper. You need to negotiate a set price. Especially, if you are only selling one 50lb bag of corn. You bring value to her event.

I pay the owner of the farm 25% of my sales. I know. It's high. But. That's what she charges.

@@CoolUsername2 Yeah. I asked the farm owner to lower my fee. She said no. So. That's all I can do. I do think 25% is high. But. I'm busy. I cook 6 hours non stop.

Yeah. I don't pay my helper 25%. I give the owner of the farm 25% of my sales. I don't know if that's typical of doing business on the farm. But I do very well there and I don't mind giving back to the farm she has people to pay.

Do you use the firehouse flavors dill pickle seasoning or do you source elsewhere?

I use Firehouse but my customers said they like Dill Pickle from Gold Medal better. They said the Dill from Firehouse was saltier.
