I test drove your old sti like 3 weeks ago at Fremont Subaru hahah crazy this cam across my RU-vid feed. I was interested in it somewhat but there was crazy metal rattling and clanking coming from the underside. I ask the sales guy what’s up he said it’s fine they all sound like that! Lol. I instantly knew it was previously modified and walked. They did give you good money for it tho. Congrats bro 👍
Man, i remember seeing this car at the mall when i was in San Jose a year or two ago. At that time i was not on bags so seeing your car on bags with the varis front bumper really made me want to go bags and I finally saved enough got myself bags as well. Lol the setup you had was what i wanted. Lol
haha no.... why would he go from a amazing handling car like the STI that has front LSD, center DCCD diff, and rear LSD just like the Evo, GTR, and GR Corolla drivetrains to go to a VB WRX that has open front diff and open rear diff with brakepad torque vectoring straight from the SUV Forester 😂 oh wait, VB guys are going to talk about how all mighty their FA engine is for drag racing in a straight line.
@@zombielivesmatter7294 you are going to need to drive one. I can tell that you havnt. Its a great car but thanks for spitting out all those stats... I used to own a STI so shit didnt resonate because the VB beats it in every spec in my mind.
@@OOOnanana my wife literally has a 2023 WRX, did not not read where I said we installed coilovers, sways, bushings, and 200tw on her VB and was terrible still, did a 1:28 at SoW, our stock 1998 STI Type R on 200tw did 1:22. Not matter how you "feel", magic doesn't happen, VB with open diff front and rear with brakepad torque vectoring from Forester is not magically going to be better than front LSD, center DCCD diff, and rear LSD in STI, EVO, GTR, GR Corolla. That's the problem with this generation, some man "feels" he's a woman so he identifies as one. VB owner "feels" his forester drivetrain is better than EVO, STI, GTR limited-slip differentials drivetrain, so they identify the VB as great handling.
@@zombielivesmatter7294 in addition to the amazing drivetrain your STI runs front, center, rear, like you mentioned, your GC8 Type R STI also weighs 2700 lbs, in perspective my S2000 is 2800 lbs, and that VB WRX is 3400 lbs, it's no wonder your Type R STI did way better at the track.
