If you’re only buying an f80 for content purposes you will be disappointed. EVERY RU-vidr is doing f80/82 G80/82. It’s genuinely overplayed and becoming boring to watch and hear as a “reveal”. It’s such a predictable path. I enjoy your channel because everything you do to your cars sets you apart from other enthusiasts. Explore ALL of your options before going with the generic m car. Keep being you Chris!!

Time for an F80 M3. I had an 11 STI and a 19 STI. Sold them for the M3. You’re going to be way happier with the M3. I built my 11 to 500whp an it cost me a ton!!! Got a only a tune and the M3 was 500whp. Better performance. Better reliability. Better handling. And most of all, better all around comfort features. Trust me Chris. I sent it and I’ve been watching you for years and drove into it. It’s the right move all day brother.

I don't know if the community is that decisive either way though it's your car's your builds and your story to tell. Stay authentic to that and yes people will come and go but as long as when you are in 40s 50s etc and you forged a story you are content with then there will be less regrets in that journey. Also if you are not passionate or excited to dump boatloads into a chassis to make it do or look a certain way that's a sign to sell.

You should sell the STI. As cool as it is, it would be cooler to see something like an FD RX7 or M3 on the channel, maybe even a 3000GT.

Have been watching you for a while now and I own a WRX, I got even more hooked to your content when you dove into the VA WRX/STI platform. In my opinion, you should consider the new FL5 Type R, still a new platform and gives you an opportunity to be different. I feel that BMW content is overplayed and doesn’t really interest me. I’ll still be supporting no matter what you decide to do so do what you think will elevate the channel to the next level!

grow yourself as a driver by learning to track the sti! the platform is there, just needs a build series for a track spec.

Personally, as you have said you’ve wanted to be a bit different. I’ve been watching you for 3 years now and yeah it’s the same cosmetic stuff with some performance content. I think best for you would be get into performance. It’ll build your portfolio as a car guy and it’ll help me and others also get ideas who are focusing on performance. The Sti is the last sti subaru will build so you also hold a piece of history. Up to you tho

I love the STI but since youre a content creator, seeing an M on your channel would benefit you. There has been so many STI builds that unless you were planning on keeping it as a forever car, it wouldnt make sense as a channel build imo. Whatever you do, real fans gonna support you

A couple things to note: 1. It’s the last STI 2. It’s the last EJ25 powered car 3. If you build the FA in the BRZ, you could build the EJ in the STI and have both motors done up all crazy. Im team keep the STI, you have a loyal fan base and we’ll watch whatever you put out there but the STI is just sick. (Also I’m biased because I also have a silver VA and I love your build😂)

In my opinion i think you should sell the sti, although i like wrx/stis and its one of the reasons why i watch your vids, one of your cars has to go, for new things to come into our life we must learn to let go to make way for that new thing, because id rather sell the car then buy another build, because it will be better financially.

I have an STI making like 600 wheel on stock block. It is a ticking time bomb, BUT always remember the reason you got the car. I been watching for a while and I remember when you got the WRX then sold it. I saw sad. BUT THEN YOU GOT THE STI! And man honestly most important thing is what makes you happy.

Imo, you have the frs and the brz to keep the core fan base satisfied. You can go crazy on those builds. Sell the sti and have new cars in rotation to keep it fresh.

What’s your gut feeling? What do YOU want to do? I know you’re torn but you have to decide in the end. Can’t say I understand what running a RU-vid channel is like but I know you regretted selling the wrx. Something new is always fun but once the “new” wears off and you realize all the things you sacrificed will it be worth it then? Honestly, build the STi keep it and upgrade that block, upgrade the turbo, build the internals, you’ll be surprised how different it feels with some engine upgrades. EJ’s are a lot different than the fa motors. But that’s just my opinion 2 cents. Appreciate the transparency, but bro, don’t do it for content, do it for you. We’re here because we dig what you do, do your thing, the real ones will stick around regardless. 🤙🏻

I feel like I can speak for most people. Get rid of it for a bmw whether it’s a f80 or g80 but I wouldn’t suggest getting rid of it for a mustang I much rather see it get fully built than seeing a mustang build.

I'd keep the STI! Being the last "STI" is pretty awesome. Maybe change things up and take it to the track! That would be a fun journey to follow! This is what the STI is marketed for.

I think with frs/brz in the rotation you’ll have the main audience still in your pocket and you can go crazy on those builds while moving on from the sti maybe a Supra/240i or m3

i'd say you should keep the brz for more show car, start power building the STI, and then have an M3 for somewhat show/street build!

I’m a wrx owner myself and honestly if you want power I think you sell the sti. You’ll make more power with less money on almost any other build lol. Just Subarus are expensive, and I personally think they look great but power is just too expensive

You should definitely keep the sti since they are discontinued and the value will only keep going up over time. Yeah you can always get another one down the road but to find out that inside clapped out would be hard. I’m glad I got my evo at the perfect time before the market in blew up. I’ve also had homies sell their Evo’s or Sti’s for m3’s and always end up coming back to either the Evo seen or subie seen.

I personally love Subarus and scion tc I got one of my own and when I got the scion I got me an 06 cause I liked the body style and interior now I've done some mods to it and I'm still doing stuff to it would I sell it? Hell nah! Would I buy a Subaru STI if I had the money to get it? Hells to the yeahs and at the end of the day I did what It felt right for me to do. It’s on you but I understand doing something different and how RU-vid works. To me I would keep the sti they aren’t making them anymore and getting rare by the day and the German seen is different. I got rid of my sti as you got yours 😂 now I own a 20 wrx and can’t be happier.
