See, nothing has been confirmed about the reasons of selling almost everything and that is absolutely understandable after what they have been through since purchasing a race car. My suspicion is that their hearts and minds are now mostly at (re)solving the situation they have found themselves in and I hope they all come out stronger and wiser at the end, including any third party that was involved, and that the team stays united and looks forward to the future afterwards.

Only a guess, but if there are complications a crash injury like Stevons can be hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical bills and therapy. I'm guessing whatever liability insurance Rich had for his company it did not cover he, or his employees or independent contractors, horsing around in 1000 HP race car with racing slicks on slippery roads. Time to buckle up.

I'm not in the USA, but one day I'd love such a car for a serious overhaul project. Much stronger powertrain, but still hybrid. Say, find a Koenigsegg 3-cyl (600 hp) once their Gemera start getting crashed. Race LMP1H derived brid system with much more peaky power output. And then a decent range pack to do some longer silent cruising with. Not sure I'd keep the back seat. Might as well use that for engine and batteries, plus some room for golf back (I need to take up golf because apparently I'm rich now with such a silly project).

Driving a car, on near slicks, with 1000hp, with a loose throttle cable, on public roads, in the cold, was one of the most idiotic, if not most idiotic thing ever done on this channel. You shouldn't go to John for painting projects anymore. Should've been sanded with a finer grit and by hand to save the carbon finish so it would be clearcoat-able. Damn hope the legal stuff is not too bad and that whatever it is you win. It's bad enough losing a car to a crash and potentially having someone hurt or killed, but being thrown legal stuff is just rubbing salt in the wound. Also hoping Stevon is doing alright and that he makes a full recovery.

They did not own the car they crashed it was there being checked out/ worked on at the shop. So the owner of that race car is going after them since they took it out and crashed it.

Sincerely hope this is a big wake up call for content creators to treat safety like the #1 priority. If one realizes they need a helmet, yet not even bystanders stop them from making the next pull on a public road idk what to tell ya. The THC company advertisement, during the crash video.. of all videos.. is a equally bad look. Possibly.. all this amounts to a "show me your friends and I'll tell you your future" moment. Bad judgement all around. Here's praying everyone gets through this with no irreparable harm.

Sad to hear about the legal stuff going on right now. That i8 should be easy to sell, but I honestly cringed pretty hard when the leather was scrubbed with a Magic Eraser. It does make quick work of stains and whatnot, but it's like fine sandpaper. Just a note for the future owner, be sure to apply some sort of high quality sealer or the color coat will start to rub off. But hey, your car, your method. The car looks fantastic.
