MetalSoul The logic of some bands: who needs a bassist when you got keyboards? I even know a Filipino band (all-girl, it's called Duster) without a bass player but instead used the synth to fill it in. Quite fun to hear. And oh, I've admired Mizuho Lin even before the blue hair :)

Isn't it crazy how when people who's first language isn't english, or people who have accents different than American English speakers sound perfectly English when they sing in English? I have always been fascinated by this for some reason. It's like music truly is the great equalizer in many ways. By the way Mizuho is absolutely beautiful, and this band is awesome.

I've noticed that too. I'm italian and I'm singer: when I speak i have pretty an american accent, but you can recognize that I'm italian. When I sing, it's totally different. It's a more... Clean accent. So it is for my "collegues" here in Italy. That's pretty awsome

There are two reasons for this. One is that much of accent is the result of tone, and singing controls tone. The second is that rock music actually uses the American accent because the singers are all imitating the early rock singers, who were all American.

www.mizuholin.com Mizuho was born in 1990 in Brazil and has half Taiwanese, half Brazilian-Polish blood. Lead singer of the metal band Semblant, she graduated in 2013 and has a bachelor degree in Opera Singing. She joined her first band Semblant in 2010 while the band was still on tour with their album Last Night Of Mortality.

Yes, a bit generic, but it did grow on me. I like it now. As for the video, I don't know what to tell you. Making a truly great video isn't that easy. It takes great vision and direction, and that's something that's usually up to someone else. The band's primary focus is making the music.

Black Ursus József Sorry if i happen to enjoy different things than you do and don't care for any of these dime a dozen metal bands. I do enjoy Mizuho because ive seen her sing live hen she was here in me country and also solo (here on YT), but i couldn't give a single damn for this band. She needs to move and find herself something worth of what shes capable of. You tho, with that whole insult hurling stuff, should show up in a festival with that mouth, see how many teeth you go home without. Remember to only run your mouth like that over the internet mary. Long few years supporting you guys. A spontaneously phenomenal powerhouse band starting to really blossom and grow huge. I remember when I first stumbled apon this song randomly. Hooked ever since. Yeah man i always love the combination or mixing of different vocal styles like for example Lacuna Coil, Amaranthe, Insomnium, Ensiferum and so on. The ultimate icing on the cake is for me though if there is only one vocalist with the amazing vocal range to doing both ”melodic” and ”demonic” and switching effortless between the extremes. Thats why i have to shoutout Tomi Joutsen of Amorphis and Tetiana Shmailuyk of Jinjer. If youre interested id recommend the songs ”The Bee” and ”Bad Blood” from Amorphis and ”Perennial” and ”Home Back” from Jinjer. Doesnt matter how often i hear these Bands they always blow my mind time and time sgain.

But somehow Jinjer just gets me fucking pumped up, eventhough the first time i saw them live was at a festival at 1 o’clock in the afternoon. Saw them twice after that (1 headline club gig thank satan) and they just slay every single time. And yes Tatiana was the factor that got me listening to them but every bandmember are so awesome musicians. Eugenen on the Bass is a god in my opinion, got to talk with him after a show for sometime and hes cool as fuck as a person as well as far as i could tell.

@@jyrzpyrz YES SIR!!! I’m a bass player myself and I can confidently say that Rush’s Geddy Lee, Jinjer’s Eugenen, and Big Wreck’s bassist (can’t remember his name) are my absolute favorite bass player ever. I envy their skill. You should totally check out Big Wreck preforming “Ghosts” live!
