IE: throw back to the Ottawa protest, when they called in the cavalry to disperse us not a single person fought back, and the cops freely bashed our heads in, while some of the organizers straight up just got arrested for false crimes and some are still in holding to this day lmao. Even most of the people who LARP as "big tough conservative alpha males YEEHAAW" who are cops/military personnel largely don't do anything (and i don't mean violently, I mean ANYTHING) to stop this kinda stuff. Pierre has made the promise that once the conservatives are in he'll repeal everything from the OIC that banned ARs onward, and has toyed with the idea of a complete rework of the current regulatory system. 1) That's dependent on the conservatives winning the next election, which seems to be a virtual certainty if current polling is any indication. 2) It's also dependent on if there's any politician who actually tells the truth. It'll take even longer now that C-21 has passed, which enshrined the freeze into law but Calibre magazine estimated that if the election isn't called till the last possible day, we can expect all of this stuff to be reversed no earlier than 2028 even if the conservatives were to make it their top priority, which they likely won't, there are MUCH bigger problems facing Canada that need addressing first.

Laws like texas is a little crazy? The only reason they aren't in the mess we are in is because of the laws they have. The only reason they have so much bad press a out it and you hear so much about it is because media wants you to think pro firearm and pro self defense states are dangerous when they are not and when you show that states and provinces that are much more restricted or outright outlawing self defense and 2a have similar or worse stats for violence. But they dont show or talk about that because then nobody would want to get rid of the guns.

Sucks to hear, but never give up hope. Freedom always wins in the end.

It's my friend's mcr, so I don't have it with me. But after shooting it, i wouldn't want it anyways. Tolerances are absolute trash, and it's unreliable with lar pistol mags. Not worth the 2 grand imo

Hey, random commenter here whose opinion doesn’t mean anything to anyone! The 180s are okay rifles. They aren’t made to great tolerances, and they have many GC issues, but for the most part Kodiak has been good about warranty work. Part of the hate is because dudes are getting them, immediately changing out the cheap parts for upgraded ones (which voids the warranty) and are then butt hurt when they don’t get free warranty work when something goes wrong. By all means, get one if you want, but don’t start changing out internal parts if you want warranty consideration. Or you can spend more money for the WK-181 which has been faring far better QC wise, but it’s 7.62x39 and only works with magpul ak mags so no LAR 10 rounders. Or third option: spend $3000 on a Tavor or a Lockhart Unfortunately, that’s as good as we get right now, probably for the near future too, if we’re lucky we MIGHT get ARs back by 2030

180s are absolute garbage. There is a reason the project was basically trashed and the states dont make many of them. Unfortunately thats all we are aloud. So for them compared to others they suck really bad the price points hurt and they are wayyyyy overpriced. But they have come a decent lenght in getting better

Generally speaking it's 5 for rifles, 10 for pistols. There's some exceptions with tube fed guns and rim-fire long guns, but otherwise that's the case I hate this country :D

If it's a centre-fire, semi-auto rifle or shotgun we're limited to 5 rounds in Canada yes. Handguns, which we can no longer buy btw, are limited to 10 rounds. Rimfire, or manual action firearms have no magazine capacity. There are weird exceptions though, where there was once an AR pistol that was an actual handgun (not the ATF's dumbfuck definition of pistol) that was called the LAR something or other that took standard mags so we have this weird loophole where you can get LAR mags which can hold ten. Canada's gun laws are stupid!

Daaaaamn, then you have it worse than us germans in the mag cap department. 10 for rifles, 20 for Handguns. Still sucks and I hate these small mags
