whew, thats a pretty gnarly looking glue joint in the bookmatch veneer top. Those holes all look very rough as well and I think in addition to checking the scale length before glueing the neck in, I definitely would check the brake angle with a nice long straight edge and make sure that the desired action will be achievable with the angle the neck sits into the pocket. While there is still time to adjust the neck tenon to make any needed adjustments.
Sometimes talking away from mic, or changes in pot levels. But looks relatively easy. Wouldn’t it be painted/stained and finished before installing neck?
@@Woodsywolfman Thanks for your feedback! We'll add subtitles to this video and also improve the our mic setup for the future videos. You can install the before or after depending on the finish type you want.
I’m building this as my second kit - it’s a fantastic kit! I started guitar as a young teen looking to rock out and play my favorite songs. Who knew it would lead to a lifelong love of guitar and becoming a guitar teacher! #ScarMyGuitarContest
That's awesome, Brendan! Wow you are now a guitar teacher. That's progress right there! From being a rocker to a music advocate guitar teacher! Love it
Can you send guitar riffs? For hip hop short ones or for techhouse/ techno 130/140bpm? I will buy a sampler next week. Ah, need wav files 👍 can send wav files too, drumset or/ and bass/ effects for example
I wish this style of semi hollow body guitar was offered without the big ugly f holes . They are a bit large and out of perspective to my eyes. Nice assembly job and a decent video without the relentless yap yap the US RU-vidrs seem to favour.
Is there enough depth in the control cavity for bourns push-pull pots? I have some burstbuckers laying around that I'd like to coil split on one of these kits.
That's the worst color choice for a guitar that I've ever seen! I've built five guitars and they all came out great. That's a horrible color you chose for that guitar.
