She gave that respect because she knew that Travis (along with Miller) is her best friend. And that Vic would probably feel better with her best friend next to her.
I love this scene.Whoever wrote this and directed it deserves an award because it showed they are all a team and have each other's backs. Here their teammate lost the love of her life who happened to be their chief. They came together and comforted her and that was beautiful.
Sadly season 5 andy and mya turned everything upside 👎 you can not blame one man sully andy's soon to be ex husband for your wrong doings and have the whole team turn against him the family bond is 💔
Yes that is so true. My mom and dad are on a volunteer fire department and it’s amazing how much of a family they are even how much family are they are to me and my brother my brother is not quite old enough to be a firefighter, but he does everything except for go on calls. We just lost a firefighter and it was so sad but also so amazing to see the firefighters come together and surround the family with so much love!! ❤️
Ewilson661 me too Vic she’s going to struggle I feel sorry for her - Ripley looked sad knowing he’s leaving her end Travis is so sad for his friend he knows this is going to break her
That part did me in both times I watched it! The second time I was a complete wreck because I knew what was coming so I pretty much cried through most of the episode.
Watching this makes me wonder if something ever happened in Shonda's life that there are hardly any happy ever afters in her shows. So sad I don't think I want to continue watching this show again.
B Shela B just another typical shonda Rhimes show she always manages to injure the minority’s and kill of the white characters no different then greys anatomy I’m done with it
lol theres nothing really happy that can happy when they are living their dream life, with their favorite people, nothing happy could come with leaving that. and its the actors choice not shondas.
This scene DESTROYED me. I was expecting Andy and Maya to come up but seeing them both get over their argument to comfort Vic was so cute and then when the rest of the team coming up made me absolutely lose it. The quote at the end was the cherry on top.
I just realized both she and her bestie belong in the Dead Hubby Club now. I didn't think this episode could break my heart anymore than it already has. I'll be in the corner sobbing. Thanks.
I'm pretty young and have been watching this show since the beginning. When Ripley said I was ready to spend the rest of my life with you and then he died i was crying in hysterics. I love this show!!!!
Just to create drama you dont have to kill loved charachters out of nowhere. There was no reason for it. Lets be honest vicley was a huge reason for all of us to keep watching the show. Ugh god im so mad.
This is probably my favorite, most emotional moment of not only this series, but of every tv show I’ve seen! No matter what happens, at the end of the day they are family, and the bond the firefighters have will never be broken ❤️
They decided to kill ripley off pretty early in season 2, Vic and Lucas weren’t planned - they only happened because of Barrett and Bretts relationship and chemistry behind the scenes even that wasn’t enough for them to change their plan. I think that’s why vics grief is dealt with so badly after just ignoring it completely was such a mistake there was so many scenes they could of had with travis and vic and vic and Sullivan
As Vic laid down on top of the rig I had this hope that she would gasp awake out of her nightmare with Ripley wiping her brow saying "It's alright Eggy is was just a dream" but nope it was Shondaland killing my dream...dang.
The heartfelt support that Vic receives from her firehouse family as she copes with Ripley's death is a compelling example of the tight-knit bonds portrayed on #Station19. These moments emphasize the importance of community, empathy, and shared grief within the first responder family. It's a testament to the show's ability to depict not only the intensity of emergency situations but also the profound connections that form among the characters. Let's appreciate these impactful narratives and stand together to advocate for the continuation of #Station19. #SaveStation19
The FIRST thing I said when I woke up was, "they killed Ripley." Maybe I stayed under a rock because I didn't see a spoiler. I knew Derek was going to die, still sad. But this...please make it a dream! Hughes and Ripley's relationship was love, real love, not random sex hook-ups.
All this vids be coming on my feed and I don’t have the heart to say no and I’m crying again. This is so perfect. I just feel her pain, and the team care so much. Little details like how Maya moves over for Travis. ❤️
Gah...I know how she feels. I did not want that for her. She will never be same. Her character will never be the same. Trust. The best thing that could ever happen is that they end Station 19 here.
@@troublealways3405 I have been on this earth too many years, watched too much soap opera love stories to believe they will take a third chair character, move her up to first chair with a guest actor, kill him off...but keep her in first chair. NOPE! She is going to get mangled and tossed aside. The Vic we knew is dead. She died in Ripley's arms in that room. The one that walked out is a ghost of her former self, to haunt those who continue to watch.
I couldn't even watch the episode cause I saw the end first and when I saw their last convo, I just couldn't bear to watch the episode... I am done with this show and all of Shondaland's shows...
This scene is easy one of my favorites of the entire show, a big reason a love it so much is because they're a family and watching (kinda the entire show) it's like I'm being invited to be a part of it two
Adoro #Station19, historias maravillosas que nos han dado vida!! Queda mucho por disfrutar y vivir, quiero seguir emocionándome con sus personajes, quiero más temporadas!! #SaveStation19 🔥🚒 #DoNotCancelStation19
So sad, but also beautiful. The arc in Shonda’s stories and the threads from the past she weaves into the present are remarkable. She is one of the BEST storyteller’s in her generation. Younger fans may not remember a very early Grey’s episode when Izzy’s work family encircled her on the floor in the hospital after Denny’s death. This scene with Victoria is the same. It took me back instantly to one of the saddest moments in Grey’s. I love these shows!!!
Omg last week my YT page was hit by mini clips of their relationship. I fell in love and began to watch the show on catch up! Mainly for them!! They killed Ripley!?!?!?!?! I can't believe it. Catch up cancelled. I'm no longer watching this show. I loved them. I can't believe this!
Cant stop bawling my eyes out 😢💔❤💔. I just love love #vicley and #ripley soo soo much. They might be just fictional characters on a fictional tv show, but us the fans relate to the show the storylines, characters, couple ships we get soo invested in them. This is just heartbreaking but saying that amazing performaces by the whole cast but espec brett and barrett 💔😍👌. #vicley have/had amazing, cute, funny, sexy, strong & electrafying chemistry. And off set brett and barrett have great chemistry the whoke cast does. 💔❤😍 #TeamVicley Always & Forever 😢💔❤😍😘
I usually watch it multiple times after. I can't tonight I'm pissed AF right now. Like I'm hurting and this shit ain't even real. Like today with General Hospital 😭😭 all day about Oscar dying and now this. I'ma smoke a blunt and go to sleep. I can't even deal right now fr I'm still crying 😭😭😭😭😭💔💔💔 idk how I'm going to continue to watch this show.
I watch General Hospital too and I so agree with you. I feel like I spent the entire day crying and it's hurts. I know they are fictional characters but it just cuts deep when you get invested in a character, or relationship, and then someone dies. And with my personal history it brings up a lot of emotions.
This scene might be my favorite so far. It’s high up there in any case I think it shows what the main message of the show is. This is what’s it all about! It’s so brilliant! I bawled after this!
I was too pissed to bawl my eyes out by this point, but this is a generic rip off of everyone being there for Izzy after Denny died, this alone is not reason to watch this show. They had some good episodes this season, but mainly the ones that were Vicley heavy. A lot of people aren't complaining just because he died. If you listen, they are saying that Vicley was the only reason they watched the show in the first place. If you take away my reason for watching the show, then there is nothing (at least for me) to stay for. The writing for this show as a whole is mediocre at best, but these two characters sold the hell out of this romance and I was on board for it, now I'm out. They likely won't get cancelled, so you can still enjoy it.
trouble always I can totally get that it is true many people did mainly enjoy it because of Vicley, but for me, despite how much of a Vicley fan I am (was..damn it😭) honestly it has never been my only reason for the show. My favorite character is Dean and i really like the storyline with his parents and actually everything to do with his character but not only to him they are all so interesting also I think Andy and Sullivan will get together any episode now so we might get a new romance? Still not going to replace the whole left by Vicley but still can be quite great. I really hope this doesn’t get cancelled!
@@fandomdomination3071 I'm ok with Jack and Maya, but I don't see what some people see in Andy and Sullivan. It wasn't just about the romance. They had "the spark," their chemistry was unbelievable. They were a perfect match of polar opposites and you saw by the end if their romance how they each effected the others life. They were drawn to each other like magnets and then they drew us to them. You can't manufacture that kind of chemistry and Sullivan and Andy just doesn't do it for me. Travis and Vic's friendship was another thing I liked about the show initially, but it wasn't enough for me to want to stay. When they announced that Brett Tucker would recut on the show, I decided to stay because I loved him from Mistresses. They captured my heart and the writers saw fit to break it in the worst possible way. You knew you were going to kill him (that was the plan all along) and you watched the fan base grow for this couple. Then you didn't even let them get married, hell they didn't even get to take a vacation together. Nothing you say will convince me to stay. I was heartbroken before by Shonda and likely will again because I'm there for Grey's and For The People or HTGAWM ( provided they don't get cancelled), they are just well written shows for me. I'm also there for whatever she has coming in Netflix. What S19 did killed whatever love I have left for this show. Like I said, I doubt it gets cancelled and I hope you get everything from it that your looking for, but I'm out.
@@fandomdomination3071 Show has high ratings, don't think it will get cancelled. well hope not. And I agree with you on the other storylines here. If I could watch Grey's after Mark and Lexie died I can definitely watch with Ripley dying.
Sometimes when you are hurting you don't need words. Sometimes it's just having your people next to you. When my mom died my wife wouldn't always say stuff when I laid in bed crying...sometimes she just held my hand and I felt better. It's not always words. Sometimes silence is the best comforter. Be quiet and just be.
This scene is symbolic in many ways. It depicts something that can and will happen to everyone, the loss of a person that they care about. They say some people are always prepared for everything, the question is "Are you really prepared", to lose that someone that you love and care about? It's hard to say isn't it? Loss is extremely painful knowing that you'll never see, hear or feel that person ever again and it's an experience, an event that changes you.
This is my exact reaction, like I was doing a count down. I couldn't wait to watch it and then this happened, I am just numb. People were saying they will kill him but I just thought they would do flashbacks and vicley would get married.
@@moonandsunriseb4830 nah I was numb, like I was surprised because I thought it was bad that they should have used the relationship more and get good ratings but they didn't
I am so pissed they killed ripley off but I’m still going to watch station 19 for vic see how she deals with his passing will be interesting I loved these to together I live station 19 and greys
Well, whoever's idiotic idea it was to kill him off just ruined this show for me. The only reason I didn't drop Station 19 in season one was for Ripley and Vic. It was why I was pushing through season two, as well. If you can not recognize why killing off Ripley was a horrible choice (while you were writing and then filming this), then it proves this show will only continue to go down hill. I can happily say goodbye to this show now...
This is what a real family look like with the love of everyone the ups and down how everyone is there even if someone doesn't want them there I was there I wish that was my family
I don't have TV so I only sort of followed the show via all the clips. I'm just so sick and tired of whoever the people are who are responsible for these shows. Is it too much to ask that we have one happy ending? These type of situation dramas are getting more and more real and we all get so invested in them. I sometimes think our own lives can be pretty pathetic sometime and we rely on the TV shows to give us hope that life is not always full of downs but occasionally there can be ups. Then something like Ripley dying just sends us spinning downward again. Damn those responsible!
There was so much more story to tell here. Vic and Ripley were TV gold. You could have killed anybody else. They were magic. My heart is broken. You killed my joy. Bring Ripley back. Fix it. Make it all a bad dream. We need more Vicley next season.
It feels like the same road traveled as the first Spin Off, Private Practice. They got really cocky with that one and guess what it died and got chopped mid season of it's 6th and final. I laughed so damn hard I nearly passed out. Shonda will not learn. That woman has allowed the success of Grey's to really cloud her judgement. Times have changed, streaming is the new emerging medium and it is not the environment you want die with boots on. You must make room for the unexpected, call it luck/blessing/good omen or whatever when you manage to turn over something great when your first selection fails.
@@calystalopez4513 thats what I think too. Never said it by grey's. I'm a lot more into the charas there. But here is it only season 2, I watch it because Travis and Grant...and than because of this two. Than there is Andy and Sulli. I think I know this Story, too. And I like med, but not sooo interesstet in the "firefighter cases". So I'm done now, before I had too be angry at the show for a other time.
i come back to this video to see maya moving over to allow travis to lay beside vic. they really are the best people in the world and I love them so much )))):
This scene brote me so Hard, it was so deep and full of emociones, and that last scene of Ripley and Vic it was the perfect way to say goodbye to a beautiful love history.
So many of us thought the one to go out would be Pruitt...the hate is going to be so strong for any on twitter. They are fighting too hard to stay with the original blueprint. But I think as time marches on, shows with single-mind will start to lose their breath in 1 - 2 seasons. Technically, she has not pulled another to last longer than 8 seasons since Scandal.
