We can be outraged for years, but if the congress does nothing and the DOJ does nothing, it’s tragic for protecting the democracy we see in such jeopardy. Keep reporting on these issues and maybe there’s hope but democracy needs a lot more than hope to survive.

The constitutional process is impeachment. Unfortunately, the framers never allowed for the emergence of 2 major political parties controlling every aspect of the US government. As Sen. Whitehouse noted, there is no way this GOP majority house will impeach, nor is there any way enough GOP senators would vote to convict. Now compare this behavior to the 1970s when Richard Nixon was pressured by his own party to resign because he would indeed be otherwise impeached.
The FEDSOC-6 are given an outrageous discretionary budget to spend however they want. The discretionary budget is our taxpayer money. What if a justice uses a million dollars to redecorate their office whenever they feel like it? I live on my social security, and I struggle to pay income tax every year on my social security income. I ask that congress freeze SCOTUS discretionary funds and provide Americans with a full audit for each justice.
