Well i guess that there was little reason to think about term limits until that fatal decision that money is free speach. In my opinion that's an invitation to corruption and lobbying. In Germany we do have term limits: 2 x 6 years up to the age of 68 and we do respect the decisions, although we sometimes don't like them. I think Senator Whitehouse does an excellent job , but you would need a 2/3 majority to change anything ?

In my lifetime, I have heard from a lot of Presidents and a lot of Supreme Court Justices and it never occurred to me to question their ethics. And then I find myself in the current situation and it surprises me that we have to investigate SCOTUS, finding them as corrupt as the rest of them. And not one word about impeaching any one of them!
