Had that very helmet since last Thursday; sent it back yesterday. Chin strap was the best part of the whole thing because it's easy to take the damn thing off. Comms: Speakers are loud and very tinny. Paired with my phone fine and my buddy's s50 after some messing around on his end. Heard it pairs great with another like helmet but I don't know anyone with one so can't say. It runs small and even in your size it's tight but I didn't have it long enough to break in either. The deal breaker for me is the chin curtain and breath guard. I wear glasses, small ones and the breath guard came right up to the bottom of my frames pushing them up to the point I took it out. I was repositioning them constantly. It's HOT. Modulars are mostly thought of for touring and I ride a wing. You get ZERO airflow through the vents behind the windshield and without the breath guard it fogs up at once. Opening it one click is all you can do and then your looking through the bottom of the shield.Maybe fine for the rear passenger but FORGET ABOUT RIDING IN RAIN. Biggest problem IMO is the mic and chin curtain. It hits the mic when closing pushing it down OUTSIDE the helmet forcing you to shove it back under. Even then the mic foam touches the front of the chin bar and your face since it's so close and tight fitting and it JUST reaches the corner of your mouth. Took out the curtain and it worked better but got a ton of road noise to where it was hard to hear me. IF the chin bar was a inch farther out in front, and IF there was some venting for the shield, it would be just ok for solo riding or with a co-rider/partner but really, find another helmet unless you don't have a chin or nose. True I only had it for 4 days and put about 2oo miles on it but these people have NEVER wore it. IF I had tried it on first I never would have bought it but thankfully Amazon took it back no questions asked. Got a HJC yesterday and separate comms. Yes I have to put it together and it's more money but the helmet fits great and I can position the mic where I want it. For the price your paying for fairly decent comms and a cheap made helmet with the Sena and it's not the worst but it's so annoying you won't want to mess with it.
I like this setup. Need a show of music, podcast and call sound quality and how to replace audio if it needs replaced or upgraded during the lifespan of the helmet.
Mine gave out not even a year with it, i though it was a battery problem but it was my Sena device that stopped charging the battery a lot of people are saying that’s a common thing so be aware if you plan on buying this.
I have had SENA comm gear for a few years now and bought the Momentum EVO. Worked great first 2 years now is a constant lost contact retry later and though it is actually still connected to my ZUMU xt Garman nav unit. The fix is miserable to get done and does not work for later on the unit does the same lost connection retry later routine. A lot of money for a poorly performing unit that the software for updating no longer recognizes my helmet. Dose for my 10S and 10U, but going through three different cables it will not see it connected.
Is this one glasses friendly? Does the drop down visor come down far enough? Also do you have a section for bluetooth helmets only on your website? Thanks
Hey Sean, we've tried on a medium and the visor does leave ample room for glasses. Checkout the link below! www.speedaddicts.com/sena-bluetooth/#/filter:custom_type:Helmets$2520Full$2520Face/filter:custom_type:Helmets$2520Modular
Sir, thanks for the video. My ? for you is I have the WHIM installed on my 2015 ultra. I have 2 helmets paired with SENA / Harley 20s. Does this helmet pair also with the Sena. for example if I wear this helmet and my wife with the SENA 20s will they pair, i.e, music and communication? Thank you.
I wear an XL HJC. Just got an XL of this for Christmas. Too small. I hope the XXL is bigger otherwise I may just return it and get another HJC and separate coms. I really just want music in my helmet without having to wear buds. I like a little awareness of what's going on out around me.
If it does …..it doesn’t work without air moving. This is my biggest complaint about this helmet fogging in cold weather. Even with the vents open air has to be moving to stay clear.
I am 5'8" 120lbs. I got this hepmet in a small. Granted this is my first helmet for my first ride, I may not have the right expectations yet. But this helmet sure looks huge on me! None the less, i will get used to it!

Sir, I am looking for the pin lock lens insert and I can't find it anywhere. The pin lock outer shield is all over the net, do you sell it or do you know where I can buy it. Thank you
Have had this helmet for 4 days now. Wind noise is pretty high + plus my Harley engine sound comes through low and loud. Fogging is issue. Helmet speakers are useable at slow speeds and earplugs. But volume and soundquality are poor. Plain high and some upper mids. No lowend at all. Firmware updates were easy. Phone app shows hd audio greyed out and no equalizer in app functions. Overall rating 4/10 and i would not buy this again. Had big expectations to audio features and soundquality.
