No, the time to stop him decisively is now, when Russia is weakened and sanctions are already in place. Go big, and supplying weapons is all you have to do, rather than spend blood later. Most of the money stays in the US and at least some goes to jobs that pay well, producing new weapons for our forces, and a mix of old and new for Ukraine. With 200M registered voters, thats about 200M wage earners, or 5 bucks per person. 20 bucks per person per month would fully finance an aid package of $48B per year.
