I think this is a great thing. What I am finding hysterical is all of the people who think that TikTok is the only show in town and that their lives are gonna be absolutely ruined and their First Amendment rights are gonna be violated. But see here's the rub.... if TikTok was the only show in town they might have a point, but it isn't. There are more platforms out there that do the exact same thing TikTok does so all you have to do is quit your crying and whining and tell your people you're moving over to a different platform and it's business as usual.

It shoud just be removed permanently. No purchase. Just get rid of it.

TikTok just needs to be banned, the option of it being purchased shouldn't exist, even if that were to happen, data is still going to be mined, as the HQ moves to the USA. China created TikTok and knows the "back doors" in the coding of the application, an user's data will still be being mined, along with your key strokes, contacts, messages, GPS location, files, camera, microphone, etc, it's also going to be searching for, and trying to access other devices that don't have TikTok on them, besides the USA, EU, NATO, an, or, allied force's refusing to ban TikTok immediately, is funding Russia's war on Ukraine, through China, who profits off of the 100,000,000+ United States of America TikTok user's alone, when that could be USA profits, off of RU-vid shorts, or other media platforms.

People have NO idea the political power of the Tik Tok generation. My kids are that generation but I'm on there. EVERY Senator who voted for this is called out in addition to their finding. Free speech AND people's livelihood are at stake. This whole, "we know things you don't" isn't holding water ESPECIALLY when other organizations have been caught red handed doing the things Tok Tok is just believed *might* do in the future. Most of the supporters of this are flat out IGNORANT. They think, it's just kids doing silly dances. Uhm, no, it's not. Many, many of them have become single issue voters. That is a concern of mine. They have NO idea the storm they have unleashed. Underestimating this younger generation AND being completely dumb about Tik Tok will be their downfall.
