Yes the cost was high but u could atleast remain with a change in the pocket but today you can't even remain with a shilling in your pocket removed subsidy from everything,petrol, schools food etc😢
I think you are crazy or never feel the pinch with the standard of living for the poor and the high unemployment! Yes Uhuru was not perfect, but he had empathy and was humane... He did put subsidies in order to bring down oil prices even if it was by 10 shillings and that helped across every commodity....Uhuru NEVER rushed a financial bill as advised by IMF Americans and signed it up into an act with no recourse of the state of economy! Right now 70% of the people are dying of hunger becoz they cannot afford the basic commodities to keep life going, they cannot afford Unga, sugar, salt, veges, fertilizer, seeds, leave alone school fees, uniforms etc.. DO U GET IT????
