There are standard RU-vidrs who would take 20 minutes to explain the sendmail command with all it's parameters and then there's Reza who takes the same 20 minutes and covers every aspect about mails I could imagine and some that I wouldn't even have thought of. Thanks for your information packed videos, Reza. So many others take soooo much time before they get to the point.
Cannot express my appreciation enough on how this one tutorial covered off so many question / use cases for me coming from C# background over to first PowerApp project. Appreciate your excellent work in making comprehensive tutorials. Thank you Reza
Hello, first of all, thank you very much for your very well explained videos. I have a question on this topic: I have stored images and documents in a Dataverse table, which I would like to send selected in a gallery by email. Is there a possibility?
Most welcome! I would say it is possible, but not something I have tried. Idea would be to get the base64 data of the image and put that in the email body.
Hey Reza! I implemented this process, and it works beautifully. The only thing I'm struggling with is how to clear the attachments after I've sent the email. My users most likely will come back and send an email for another request type. When they return to the form, the attachments for the previous email request are still there. Any help would be appreciated. 🙂
Hi Reza, Love the help you provide on here. I’m stuck on sending an email with an HTML table though. Hoping you can help me. I can get the table to display correctly in the app, but when it gets sent to my email, it concatenates everything so there is only one row on my table instead of moving on to the next row like it does it is showing in the app.
Most welcome! I have not come across the mentioned issue and hence not sure what the fix is. I recommend posting your issue/query with screenshots on the forums at powerusers.microsoft.com
Amazing video, but I just have one question: is it possible to print a screen as an image or embed a pdf file in the body of the email because I have a requirement to attach the entire screen of PowerApps in my email body?
Thanks! I am not sure. I do not have a video reference on this scenario and would have to try it out to provide guidance. I recommend checking on the forums at powerusers.microsoft.com/ in case someone has done something similar.
@@RezaDorrani thank you so much for your immediate response, As an example, if you had a requirement to attach the Power Apps screen to a mail body, what would you have done?
Hi, Reza thank you for this wonderful explanation!! I was trying to implement tables into the rich text but somehow it seems, that tables are not supported by rich text, and with HTML Editor we can only view the table not edit it. Is there any way we could implement this functionality directly or indirectly?
Thank you for your comprehensive videos. Is there a way I can go about saving the history of emails sent through power apps? Perhaps when I select a ticket. It display the communication history relating to that record.
Probably possible but not something I have done or have any references for. I recommend checking on the forums at powerusers.microsoft.com/ in case someone has done something similar.
Wonderful video on any possible use case around email. Your videos are really Indepth and complete in nature, nothing else to refer to build solutions from scratch. Thank you so much 🙂
Hi Reza, Thanks for sharing knowledge.. Just would like to know whether we can set content ID and image inline when sending an email with screen shot in body.. Happy New Year🎉
This is Great, Power apps Keeps on Getting Better, especially with you Good presentation Skill. The Demo is Well Packaged. I can wait for a video on New "Wrap for Power apps" Feature. Thank you.
Hi Reza, brilliant explanation!! I have one question regarding email attachments. In your example, you're either using an attachment control or list attachements as a data source. Is it possible to use a specific item in a document library instead? I tried to get it to work, but the contenbytes part is quite tricky. All the forums suggest using flow, but I would like to avoid that. Do you have an idea how to address this? Appreciate your help!!

Excellent video @Reza - Keep it up mate! On another note - I have one request if you can put this in your backlog of video requests i.e. I have not seen any of your video which shows solution creation or solution management in Power Platform - It will be great help if you can send me link if you have created such video or if you have seen such video - or you create one if none is exist. - Thank you in advance 🙂
Hello Reza. Another great video and tool that I've added in as a component. One thing I'm looking to do is to confirm the email was successfully sent, or if it failed. Is that an option? I'm allowing CC, BCC, and Attachments in my OnSelect
Hi Reza, Another great video, thank you for your dedication. I wonder if you can help me with a solution for this request. I have a folder with several files in a shrepoint library (but I could have on anyother location). In the APP, I want the user to select all or specific files from that folder, say from a Gallery that I already built, and automatically send them as attachments to a specific email that the user types in an input box. This should be done with a flow inside the powerapps, or is there another way? I'm really strggling with this. Thank you!
I do not have a video reference on this scenario and would have to try it out to provide guidance. I will recommend posting your query on forums at powerusers.microsoft.com/
Hey Reza, great video ;-) Could you perhaps help me with one thing. I followed all the steps under the "style the HTML email body" and it works, but only the Images are missing. What can I do? Looking at your example all the images aren't missing. Thanks in advance

Hi Reza tks for your useful video, now it's clear how to send an email from power apps. if possible I have a question for you. In OUTLOOK when sending a new mail there is a "vote" option (you can select multiple choices Eg I accept / no accept, YES/NO Etc.) and in automatic outlook sends the reply to the sender. the question is. Is't possible insert this option in the email sent from Power Apps? I hope i was clear with my english. I follow you from Italy. Thanks in advance and keep it up.
I have not tried that option in Apps, hence not sure. I will recommend checking on the forums at powerusers.microsoft.com/ in case someone has done something similar.
Hi, I have one question... Thanks for video, it helped me, but can I resize image from ... src="json(image.image...)" ??? Or it takes size from attachment in sharepoint list and it can't be changed?
@@RezaDorrani thanks, I just wanted to kinda automate this, because if I change size with html tags, it just doesn't work :/ I mean finnaly worked, but i have to change height and width to specific number of pixels, but i wanted to have height=500, width=auto, aaaand that just won't work
Are you able to rename images in some way or is this only able to be done by using power automate as I usually would? thank you so much for the help! this is an info packed video!
Im hardcoding names of images in video. They could easily be made dynamic. Let me know the time in video where I did show something that you want to rename.
Thanks for the video Reza. Great materials! one Q- in the end of the video, you sent table using HTML text. how did you added the HTML text to the send email button? IF im adding this label instead of the body, the email generated with the HTML text and not the table.

Thanks Reza for great educational videos. I am very grateful to you specially for form control videos. I have developed web application for my team based on your video guidance. I have an issue that I have been trying to resolve. I would like to send the submitted form by user signed in to their specific email as an PDF attachment. I have tried PDF() function but it only sends the content that is visible on screen. How can I configure to send all the content of submitted form to user's email. Your response would be much appreciated. TQVM

Hello Reza, Thanks for Video. I have one question. When you put emails outside the organization and you click + to add it. Is there any chance, when that email is used again, system to propose it and not to write ,again the full email address? Best regards,

couldn't figure out why Office365Outlook.SendEmail was sending HTML text as text and I thought it would be some whacky thing you had to do to convert it to images and formatting but it was literally because I wasn't using V2, THANK YOU!
@@RezaDorrani the only issue I have now is that V2 changes all the formatting i’ve done in .sendemail, it all just shows as one paragraph now instead of lines and spaces, I don’t suppose you have you any videos explaining formatting on using sendemailV2? Sir, you gave me the missing piece I needed to fully flesh out my app. I couldn't figure out the attachments portion of sending through an app. I also think I will use a pop up window so the user can see what they are sending before it's sent as well. Appreciate the ideas, thank you! As a side note to everyone, did you know you can mass text people through your Power App?
@@RezaDorrani It took a few steps, but this is where I started my project, shorturl.at/cgAGN. I needed to create a mobile app that would give my managers the ability to notify the general managers in my company. The caveat was that it couldn't be done via email as the GMs ignore their emails. You can't fix bad process, but those were my parameters. I lucked upon that article during my search. For the first part, I needed the ability for the GM phone numbers to be in text form as I couldn't make this work using 365 connector in Power Apps (I used the connector in Power Automate to populate the fields). So for each location, there's an associated GM and their phone number. Next I used ForAll on a button to pull all the phone numbers into a collection from the filtered gallery. From there I used the Launch function which sends all the numbers to the user's text app where they can send a message to everyone all at once, or an individual GM if they choose. I added some other things to this, but I wanted to keep this simple. The managers love it, and want the other IT managers to use it now. I hope this all makes sense as I was pretty proud of my work. Outside of that article, I applied many of the techniques and principles you've shown me over your various videos to put it all together. Once again, I greatly appreciate everything you've taught us all up to this point.
Hey Reza, quick question about formatting the email with HTML. So, what I'm trying to do is plug in some of my form data into the email. How do I go about adding that into the HTML code?

Hi Reza, First off, your videos are super helpful! Can't Thank you enough. To add files to doc library, you would need to use flow. No direct way to do so from power apps. You can collection in gallery or collection, and then send info to flow to create the files. Some of my earlier videos do show how to add files.
Great, helpful and informative video as always! I am looking to have a 'chat' function added onto the tickets onto my Powerapps help-desk. The help-desk data is stored in a SharePoint list. Do you have any suggestions on how to achieve this? Or have the email that is replied to from this new feature auto-uploaded into the list? Many thanks!
Chat in Power Apps? PVA would be an option. You can use a custom pcf component and bring in pva. Email can be exported to SP via flow. I do not have video references for either of the above options.
