Eucalyptus uses a lot of water... The story tells that the groundwater is becoming salty .. Probably due to having used up the sweet water that existed. You only can grow trees like eucalyptus as long as it is sustainable; when there is enough water coming in.

Mr Meijssen thanks for the solution. Sir why is not only that Eucalyptus is the solution are there any other benefits? Am a guy doing farming in West Africa ( Sierra Leone) but it's a challenge to have someone that can give you an Expert advice on the SOil condition and What crops work best on certain soil.
