Is sms-pack required for both the Care-Touch app user & the Easyfone user? Or only outgoing sms from the Care-Touch app user can do the configuration job?
Yes yoy need sms pack or it will be paid sms. You would also require easyphone membership to keep these features active. It is free for one year later it will be approx 1000 , 1500 per month.
sms pack is only required with the sim in easyphone. Other phone with care touch app doesn't require sms pack, it only need internet connection and subscription. Easyfone subscription is free for 1 year, after that you will have to renew it.
Is the phone working properly? How is the battery life? Please confirm if it comes with a lanyard (cord) to carry the phone with thread around the neck.
Till now its working great. In one charge it works approx 5 days for us. Id doesn't comes with lanyard but you can buy your own, there is a place in phone where you can put lanyard cord to hang it . Its very light and easy to handle.
This phone is for my mom and she don't need hearing aid till now, therefore I don't have any source to test it. But there is a speaker phone button (SOS button) which puts the phone on loud speaker in just ome touch.
Battery works 4-5 days after full charge. But I found same issue with battery, battery got swolllen in 7 months. It was out of warrenty so I ordeeed for 599.

Sms pack means, when you recharge your phone you get some free messages that is sms pack. If you do not have message pack then it will cost you for each message when you will use this app to make changes. Frankly I am using this phone since so many months and I have used that feature only 5 times that means only 5 messages are spent.
