J.P Kanter Loïc was great, no question. However I disagree about the other two. Laura was fantastic in my opinion, however Blanche was purely bad to me. This song here is another fantastic one.

I agree. Belgium has often very good and underated songs. This is really great as last year from Belgium. Lana Del Rey is a good influence. See and learn swedish girls. But I think sweden have a great opportunity to achieve a place between 5-10 again. Greetings from Stockholm

Performance was pretty mediocre, and had no chance in the tough semi 1. Shame, since it's one of the better songs this year (the studio version)

I checked the results for the years between 2012-2017 for Belgium and Sweden. Sweden 2012 (1), 2013 (14), 2014 (3), 2015 (1), 2016 (5), 2017 (5) Belgium 2012 (-), 2013 (12), 2014 (-), 2015 (4), 2016 (10), 2017 (4) According to your analysis you are right. It seems like Belgium have found a good formula to send girls who have Lana Del Rey as influence and Sweden in a opposite way send boys with dance pop songs. My opinion is that the last year contribution from Belgium was absolute number 1 and even this year Belgium is definitely a top 5 in the competition. But Im also a little bit weak for the swedish contribution this year and Im not sure Belgium will beat Sweden (good looking guy and many girls in Europe will vote) I guess Belgium somewhere between 1-10 and Sweden betwen 5-15. my country will most likely vote for israel , but i am not a fan of grabbing an issue and lifting on it to get points. if i could choose i would give both greece and belgium 11 points can't chooce between them at this point but it's all how you can perform live on stage so probably that makes it easier.

Couldn't agree more. The song is atypical and too good for eurovision, so it didn't qualify. Exceptions are very rare (Treni di Tozeur, Sobral and some more)
