A half first impressions and a half art haul review for my new acrylic paints from Sennelier, extra-fine artist quality. I'm a fan of Abstract series and was excited to try this series too. I bought a basic palette pigments and did some swatches.

Hi, how are these compared to the Abstract series in term of texture and brush stroke? I am guessing that these are thicker and hold brush strokes better. Am I right? And thank you for your review. I am thinking about trying these paints.

Yes, that’s right, they’re better in holding brush strokes texture and thickness of paint (but it also depends on the properties of a particular pigments - Quinacridone red and Ultramarine foe example are quite liquid and transparent), more pigmented. I’m painting with them around 10 months and I’m pretty satisfied, still not sure if they could replace the acrylic for me from Golden😁

@@WarmUltramarine Thank you for your reply. What is it from Golden that make them irreplaceable for you? I only have one tube of Golden, and it is very nice. But most of my acrylic are Winsor Newton, so I rarely use that golden tube.

@@cisp360 The main and only problem with the Golden is the price😂 So I always try different brands in searching more affordable variants of heavy body acrylics.
