Apart from the airfield, the campsite hasn't changed much from when my family camped there in 1970. We loved it, especially with the access to the beach. Considering I've lived most of my life only a couple of miles inland from the vast stretches of golden Lincolnshire beaches, that's quite a commendation! I remember Sennen Cove as a parabola of white sand which always focused the sun towards wherever I happened to be. The cove itself was perfect for children swimming and there were breakers which attracted surfers. It was quite a childhood paradise.
