Best headphone reviewer imo. Love this kind of tests. It would be great tho if you could do the "pistol latency"-test with a delay between each shot. Like 3sec and not just kinda instant, its hard to see/hear the delay until that last shot. :D Thanks again!

I am about to get a replacement XM4, as with really loud café noise, my wife couldn't hear me through all the amplified café noise she was hearing. I'm hoping the next pair will work better, but I doubt it. Others online state they have the same issue. Looks like it's XM4 for music and Galaxy Buds Pro for calls. : (

I have a Jabra 75t elite and am looking at the Sennheiser CX plus. How would they compare? What's your recommendation? My complain about the 75t is the 4 hours battery life. But the Sennheiser CX plus looks so big can you lie on your side with the buds? Thanks.

the CX plus are awesome connected to my pc for gaming. The aptx is a huge plus on the CX when paired with the Creative BT-W5 dongle.

Wouldn't it be possible to buy foam tips for the Sennheisers separately?

Hi Aaron, I recently bought the Jabra 75t elite active for $99 on sale and when it comes to music it’s great, I just don’t like the one ear bud listening at a time, then when the Sony XM4 came on sale for $249 I bought to test it out, but when it comes to the highs it doesn’t sound close to the Jabra, both was adjusted with EQ, but I like the options with the Sony... but I like the music sound quality of the Jabra much better, is there anyway I can make the Treble higher in the Sony? If so I would keep it. Thank you.

Are the WF-1000XM4 more ideal for the gym because of the foam fit? I'd be using them for things like burpees and jumping. Also considering the Earfun Airpro 2s because of the price point and your review.

I really like my new Sennheiser CX Plus in ear buds but the only thing I find annoying is it seems that transparency mode automatically kicks in when you're on a phone call. Trying to have a conversation when I'm walking on a busy street during rush hour is quite annoying since I can hear all my background noise but more amplified. Is there a way I can get around this? Adjustment in the app, or the app's new software update? I'm wondering if I should switch to an earplug instead, if it can fit?

Every RU-vid channel that reviews the Sony's compared to the sennheiser's they all say that the Sony Sound stage compared to the sennheiser's is trash so if you're looking for some wireless earbuds for the best soundstage sennheiser's are the way to go

In the ANC noise cancellation segment the sennheiser's cancels more noise in the noisy environment then the Sony the Sony's let in more sound and even got louder

I just bought CX Plus ( because of you :D ). I would like to buy Momentum 2 or 3 but: CX PLUS > £99 ( 5 installments ) MOMENTUM 3 > £180 MOMENTUM 2 > £209 I liked MOMENTUM 3 ( listened your sample ) But, Twice more expensive than CX PLUS. Therefore i choised CX one. I am not %100 percent happy with CX PLUS. But, Sounds like it's better in terms of Price / Performance. Almost forgot; Bose QC > £169 ( much more better listen to music with this isn`t it ? ) Please help me ; Should i return CX Plus and buyin Bose QC ? ( I need your advice, please ) ( I had Bose SoundSport Free wireless, but, when i try to change left ear battery, i vroken mainboard connection, i loved listen to music with it ): ) thx M8 EDiT ; I returned this item. just 7 days later earbuds batteries show %90 ( After 12 hours wait in battery case ). I have tried several Sony's buds, Bose, AudioTechnica, Jabra, ANKER too, but while i got myself the Sennheiser CX Plus. The sound is amazing. It's true that Sennheiser puts the sound first. Which is the main purpose of getting an earbuds/earphones. They definitely beat mostly all brands out there. Once i have tried the Sennheiser, Sennheiser only, i'm not taking them off my ears💥👌 😂.

Both the basic and pro cx wireless are for people that enjoy music. They are alright on call but i prefer using the Sennheiser earbuds at the gym and when I do work around the house. The Sony buds though are for people that just want to chill and sit around. The weight of them or maybe the design just don't keep them in my ear even with the insert changes. Gaming with either is not recommended. Neither offer surround sound because they just don't offer anything better than over the ear headphones.

I’ve been reading that the Soundcore Liberty 3 Pros are better than both of these. What do you think?

Can i use sennheiser cx plus only single bud

I went through 3 pairs of the "king", one of them being used and sold as new, and every single one have the same problem : there is a metal ringing/beeping when listening to podcasts or in voice calls. It seems to be a design flaw, and for that price, absolute disgrace.

When are you going to review the Grell buts by that former Sennheiser dude?

All the features of the Sony buds don't mean anything when Sony trashed the batteries with their firmware update and the update fix is only in Asia. The charge only last 20 to 30 minutes now. Ridiculous. I'm going with Sennheiser from now on

all of these reviewers are biased, the sonys volume is not loud, after 70% of volume ; the sonys completely loose its EQ and becomes flat or worst than flat, the sound is just middles , so you are warned.

i got my cx plus for 100 usd and i am more than happy, coming from jbl live free nc+ tws, the sound is much cleaner, it fits much better and anc just works.

I have the Sonys (the M4) and the sennheisser cx. I've been watching several RU-vid comparisons between the cx and the cx plus, and everybody says that the cx plus are louder than the cx.. The cx that I own are loudest than the Sonys by far. So... I don't understand.

I don't know but I love my Sony ... And I can wear them all day and the battery is amazing all day with one earbud ... And when people look at me like what are u wearing?? They get close and see Sony logo... They know that is a good shit... Not like other brands...

Frankly make a comparison without using the particularities of each (ADAPTIVE APTX, LDAC, DSEE ...) to make a concrete return, I do not find that really fair and complete. I do think that people's choice is conditioned by these peculiarities and what they bring as benefits.

Those sony headphones suck.. no bass and not loud enough!!

The app is terrible as the product, It's just fail to find the earbuds unless you reinstall it, it won't let u know any update version comes up as well. the product itself ( I have CX plus true) is hazardous, I had to pull detached ear tips when pulling them out of my ears using tweezers already several times. NO good for gym as well, as it's getting no response with sweaty hands. I will definitely not recommend purchasing it to none of my friends !!!

I don't think your ears function properly my friend, nobody ever put Sony before Sennheiser. Earphones, earbuds should be all about sound, not quirks and "features". Sony are light years behind Sennheiser in terms of sound, get a grip on reality and an eardrum checkup.
